Mother plants

Hey guys I’m gonna get a few mother’s on the the go and I was just wondering if I should keep them under cfl or hps any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

I like fluro's, cheap and don't need much ventilation. Don't really need the moms growing that fast, just enough to keep em healthy.

I like my mother plants short and bushy, so typically I keep them inside a tent with a metal-halide lamp.

That said, an HPS will work fine, so will CFL if you've got enough of them to keep them growing. I've used both successfully.

At one point, I had my aerocloner along with two small mother plants in a 2x2x2' DIY tent with 120W of CFL.

I use a 100 watt qb every momma. Plenty of light and cheap to run.
