whats the best way to grow a mother plant, from fem seeds or just bag seeds

You are going to want to make sure the mother is female. Would be a huge waste of time if not. A mother plant is one you veg right out and take clones from it. You never flower it, just veg her out.

When I say veg her out I mean, keep clipping it back and vegging it unitl it is really bushy and has lots of branches on it. I have had 5 plants in veg since Oct. Just clip it every 2 weeks or so and it keeps getting bushier. Now I have lcones it (made about 40 clones) and am going to be putting those clones under a 1000 watt mh tonight. The clones are about 4 nodes high. I will veg these out until at least april. Pinching them and letting them get really bushy. Good for clones for the spring grow.

What ever you have it growing in. I have mine in promix.

After a few weeks most plants require light feedings to insure continued growth. Try a water soluble fertilizer, at a much lower than recommended concentration at first. After several weeks you can increase the concentration a little.
