Too much light..right...

So what Im hearing is that you believe underlit, stretchy mothers will give better clones.. And that CFL's can produce such a plant better than MH? Correct me if Im wrong.

If you take enough clippings often enough, your mother will never get "too big". MH is way more efficient than CFL's, trust me, I've used both. A 75watt MH will be more than enough to supply a mother with better internode spacing and produce an all around healthier plant than using 200watts of CFL.

Growing is not about cutting corners or cheaping out on equipment, at least not for quality medicine. You get what you put into it.
Dude Are u serious???? seems like u( MR against CFLs) had full cfl grow in the past??? thats actually something I've never done bcs I know Plants with CFLs jus don yield as much, anyone knows that.( unless u r a T5 lover or somethin)

Calm down forza, I only got on your case because you're clearly somewhat new to this and you were giving the OP (sorry about the thread jack btw) weak advice. If you dont fully understand the problem, or the answer that you attempted to give, then dont try to sound like you know what your talking about in the Newbie section. Thats not helping anybody. Just step back and let the pros (not me by any means, only been growing for two years now) handle it.

The only reason I ever posted in this thread is because you obviously gave if-y advice to a newbie grower. Newbies helping newbies rarely works out well in the end.

I never said that only MH can produce quality plants. I myself veg with two 150watt CFL hoods. Ya theyre great on heat and can easily provide ENOUGH light for a healthy plant, but as far as efficiency, growth rate and yield are concerned, HID all day hands down.

You clearly dont understand that a plant that is flowering under 18/6 possesses autoflowering traits, and CAN NOT be revegged OR used as a mother, regardless of what kind of lights you are using. Read up, theres tons of great advice on here. Youre even in the perfect section. Just dont run around trying to get your post count up by attempting to solve other less-experienced growers with your slight knowledge of growing.

Autoflowering simply was a guess by some poster earlier, Ive seen similar cases with people who were veging plants and all of the sudden it started flowering due to timer broken or some other factor, The cure to that was simply longer light hours(thats very easy to atleast try).plants have genetics, regardless how u treat them They may act completely different than expected, I may be somewhat new to indoor growing but I've been growing for almost a decade, U should be very confident with ur knowledge to call someone who u don know a Newb. I think ur one of them people who gained all what he knows off this wensite, maybe in the future years U learn how Uve made wrong choices in ur past grows(If u still grow) either way B4 u jus get up on here and write somethin back maybe do a little more research instead of being so sure about urself, peace
