I have these two ladies in a 4x4, they are Rqs power flower, everything has been hunky dory til now, I have found a little mould/rot on the left hand plant, I've chopped the offending buds, should I harvest now to save the crop, I'd say they should have a few more weeks, they have been in flower for 8 weeks

I would keep them going they look good one spot seems wweird. Haven't seen any bud worms? They will take over 1 bud at a time and create their web and mold that bud and move to the next. Did you see a worm in that molded bud?

No nothing at all, I noticed a yellow leaf and when I pulled at it the bud fell off, then when I looked a few more were around it were affected. I removed the whole top of which most of it was fine, so it is now drying

Bit of an update....I have kept a check on these two girls, and everything seems to be ok again...bit of a strange one.

That has nothing to do with budworms. Thats grey mold "Botrytis" and it's a guarantee that the spores are all over that plant. You can dry that top you took off but if you dig inside and scope it you'll likely find mold inside. It will look similar to trichomes but on longer finer stems with smaller little round tops.

Those look near ready.

Botrytis is systemic and guarantee that will spread.

Id chop now if I were you.

On the big buds id break them down and give a 40x or so look inside.

Clean any tools you use to cut rhe problem bud and clean your hands.

Figure out your mistakes correct and move forward. Every grower faces this problem.

Sorry to hear this...buds look good. Sometimes it cant be avoided. Ive had a strain bud rot on me 3 different times. No matter what I did. Summer. Winter. Fall. Same issue. Some plants ate just prone to it

Hold on a second...worms are spinning webs now? Indoors in tents? And "molding" bubs?

I've seen them chew thru stems and leave buds dried up. You can tell from the small black dots of poop they leave behind. On outdoor plants.

I have just had a good look through the buds of both plants, not a sign of any other mold, so as a precaution like I said I will chop, they are too nice to lose.
