Moving plant for MH to T5?

I have aplant unde a 400w MH light in veg right now. I'm not ready to flower it, but I need to move it to another grow room. That room has T5 lighting. Is that going to be an issue for the plant?

Also, it is getting 18 and 6 now, but there is not timer on the T5s. Should I add a timer or can I let it run 24hrs? I'll be flowering in 7-10 days max ideally

Personally I think the sudden changes might be a little stressful

18/6 now, 10 days of 24/0 then 12/12

So first off, I'm not ready to flower it, although she is pretty ready. More intense light would cause the plant to grow, I want her to grow very slowly until I'm ready to flower her. If you must know the reason before responding the flower room in the new area the plant is being moved is not fully constructed yet. I need to order a few more parts.

Secondarily there are already T5s setup in the new veg room. This is why I ask if it will be an issue. Because if it is not an issue, then I'd rather not go through the headache of switching the lights out.

So, if anyone can place let me know:

1) If moving to less intense lighting is infact stressfull for the plant and
2) If changing from 18/6 lighting to 24hr lighting will be an issue.
