From my experience bringing plants inside just makes the bugs worse, because the conditions are even better for them to thrive inside. Depends what kind of bug I guess. My plants that were outside and infested are only surviving now because I clean the leaves everyday by hand, it's hard work but at least it will save my bud.

You'll need to heavily treat them...really kill the bugs that are on the plants, soil, pots and everything else first. Then maybe even...after that....bomb them with a doctor doom fogger in the room. Respawned is probably right - bugs could get worse since you are taking away predators, weather etc. As for light...I didn't have a problem when I brought mine in. Maybe just start at 12 hours of HPS light and slowly increase by an hour each day?
YO

good luck

thanks for the info peoples, i think will try doing the 12 hours of 1000 watt HPS light and increase an hour every day. the bugs aren`t really too bad, just sometimes i will find some holes in my leaf`s, but nothing too too bad, just want to get them in before it gets out of hand, i mean their only like 40-50 days old or so, so its not like i have them inbuds or anything, just sparatic worms and slugs maybe, not sure, i know they lurk closely to my herb though that i have straight in the ground. thanks for all the help though, really appriciate it fellow growers.:blsmoke:

If they are not budding then that much easier cause you can spray them. My plants already had buds, but they have made it, I will be harvesting next week :)

One thing I noticed, and you may too, is that when my plants went under the lights the crystal production and bud density shot up dramatically, it was very noticeable. I am in the southern hemisphere so they were in winter sun which may have been the reason for the big jump. Good luck.

Yes, garlic is good, mixed with some canola oil (or soap). I use Margaret Roberts organic insecticide which is basically those 2 ingredients.

You're welcome.
Another thing you can try is adding a layer of river sand on top of the soil around your plants, it can prevent pests from breeding there. Oh, also stick those sticky yellow strips inside your grow room (white fly traps, I think that's what it's called), it helps a lot.

ok got rid of bugs, and now ama bout to bring in, just 1 more question though. Can i just bring it in to the 18/6 light cycle? mostly because i only have 1 1000watt HPS setup and already have a crop started under the lights, and just want to be able to put the ones from outdoors with these.

If your plants are not budding yet then it should be fine, although you may want to get a second opinion on that because I'm not 100% sure. I had the luxury of syncing my lights to the sun.
