Moving seedlings outdoors

I planted a few seeds in early march, and then some more in late march. The older ones are about 18" tall and the younger ones are about 8 inches tall and wide. They have been growing under 16 hours of light. Will I be able to move these plants outdoors later this week without having to worry about them going immediately into flower? Or should I keep them indoors for a couple more weeks?

I am around 45 degrees latitude. The day is about 14 hours long currently

Thanks for your advice

The days are still too short right now & most clones will go into flower. You will need to cover them for 12/12 to keep them in flower to finish & you can pull an early crop. You can get away with starting seeds outside right now as they will not ne sexually mature enough to flower until the days are longer in May. If you wait until the end of May or first of June clones won't go into flower as the days are longer. I have had luck with putting clones out in March/Apr only if I put lights over them for a couple of hrs at night. If you don't hang lights they will flower early & may or may not revert back to veg & generally be screwed-up & not produce good buds if at all.
I suggest you start covering those plants for 12hrs of darkness & let them finish flowering & put more plants out next month when these are finished flowering & the days are longer.....good luck
