Hmm.. Wonder what jobs they are lacking over there?
I need to start studying it now!

Hate to break it to you but there is NO WHERE in the USA where MJ is completely legal. According to federal law... it is still an illegal substance and the DEA has been busy raiding what the State considers legal dispensaries.
States rights vs. Fed.... it was all decided way back in the war of Northern Aggression.
im thinkin about moving to the arcatia or fortuna area i just wanna set up a small scale operation maby like 20 medium plants. the area seems pretty cool from what ive heard.
thats right. the real reason the bible thumpers are like that is they have so much anxiety about their own issues (mj use in this case) that they have to impose their views on everybody else. you will find the preachers who spread the most hate for gays, for example, are the ones sleeping with every male they can find.

I've been considering moving to California also, just can't decide on what city, I live currently in a southeastern backwards bible belt state and not only that but have chronic neck, back, hip, knee pain with degenerative disc disease, I have documented history of being in pain clinics with CT Scan,M.R.I., XRAYS for proof, and have been taking schedule II opiate pain meds for nearly 7 years and my liver has elevated enzymes from them, I also take cortisone injections to minimize my joint pain, not to mention getting T-boned 2+ years ago and having my right orbital and mandable (eye socket and upper jaw bone) cracked from hitting the windshield with CT Scan to prove that as well, so I have more than enough documentation to get a medical-pot recommendation, but heres something that I'm concerned with...I still work and sometimes have to piss in a cup for random testing, no problem currently because of legitimately prescribed meds, BUT ...if I lived in California and were a medical-pot card holder, is there or would there be any protection for me taking pre-employment or random drug tests ? I read something a few months back that was some law bill trying to get passed in California protecting authorized medical-pot users for employment drug tests just like any regular employee currently has protection from drug tests if they happen to be on some "legally prescribed" opiate pain meds. I would see no sense in coming all the way out to California to live and then not being able to get or keep a job because my urine tested positive for Cannabis use even when I would be a medical-pot cardholder....does anyone know if any employment protections exist for medical-pot cardholders in California when it comes to drug testing? This is really the only thing holding me back from coming out there. Also , if you want to know , I'm an HVAC technician , and they're always in demand so getting employment would be somewhat easy for me.
So, so, jealous. Not just because of the pot laws either...NoCal rules. I've twice now driven from Texas to LA and taken route 1 north...so damn gorgeous out there.hey whats up? im moving to northern california soon. im have been living in md my whole life and would like to know how things are out there. ie laws, people, weather, scene.....
