Moving while in 12/12. Any help?

Hey guys this is my 1st post so forgive me if ive done anything wrong!

K ive got a problem. Im living in a rented apartment and my lease is up at the end of Feb. Im a 1st time grower and only have 3 plants. They have been on 12/12 for 2days. Strains are great white shark, alaskan ice and brainstorm and it says flowering should be complete in about 8-9 weeks. currently ive set the light period from 8am - 8pm.

The problem is. ive got to move apartments half way through the bloom cycle! What is the best way to hide and transfer the plants. if i stick them in boxes will a couple of hours dark during light period confuse the plant? and how should i get rid of odours for the landlords arrival?

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance

Transport them during the dark time....use febreeze, vacuum, air freshners, fresh air. All those should help clean up the smell

You didn't say whether they were in soil or a form of hydro but....

Soil

If you can, go to wal-mart and buy an 18gal sterilite tub. Put your plants in there and very carefully close that bitch. If you want, you can even rig it with a couple of 2700k cfls powered by a battery.

Hydro

Buy same tub and place it over the existing tub and move!

Both should be moved during lights out and in the dark if possible but with the tubs, the light shouldn't get through.

The smell issue can be fixed with cheap incense @ a hobby shop or head shop. I think even wal-mart has them....

for some reason all i could think about was moving them during the day..... didnt even consider moving at night, i think its coz of all the talk about complete darkness and not to let even the slightest light get to it threw me off ... So simple. i feel like a dick now. cheers 4 the help guys

i just had to move my plants i had an inspecton the other day and i just put garbage bags over them and took them to a boys house i did it at night so u could see in my car! also the top colas did get messed up a little for a few days but it was smooth sailing from their!

also id swith back to 18/6 till u move! think about it? your get way more weed vegging it for another month!

theyre around 12-13" atm. if i vegged 4 another month theyd be monsters. my grow area wont hold them and i dont have sufficient lighting. wouldve been awesome if circumstances were different though. cheers. do u guys know how big these strains grow or what the yields like if im flowering them with 400watt hps? in soil and gonna be using mother earth bloom along with bud blood, big bud and overdrive. i heard advanced nutrients were 1 of the best. Expensive but i bet itll be worth it!
