moving young vegging plants and temp fluctuation

Hi folks,

This is my first little grow. Just 4 plants in a greenhouse (purple maroc and amnesia auto). Its 2 months in and they are looking good and healthy nice deep green leaves and bushy growth but maybe they aren't growing as fast as I might have thought. I'm feeding them baby bio original to the mixture recommended on the back of the bottle.

Things that could be affecting growth are moving them around the greenhouse during the day to catch as much direct light as possible (do they mind being gently shuffled around?) and quite possibly the fluctuation in temperature, I'm controlling this as best I can by opening the window up and an extractor fan drawing air through. I'm not sure what temp it gets down in the middle of the night (its a lean-to against the side of the house so that probably helps with stored heat) but its got to be below 10 degrees and at lunch time its currently getting up to 35.

Any thoughts?
Or maybe I'm just over mothering them!

Cheers

Your babies wont like the cold, that may slow down growth... moving them around wont hurt them, I've had the same issues... my temps at night are sometimes 14 and during the day upto 24 degrees... thats a 10 degree difference :(

I think Ive just invented something that might help. Lets call it a thermal battery. Ive used two of those brown homebrew kegs filled with water and left inside the greenhouse. During the day heating up, at night giving out the heat. I'll report back how effective they are.
