Okay here is my Journal Dun dun dun... haha.. Currently I'm flowering one big lady that is well just plan ole good green stinky, sticky, fat buds.. average flower is 2.75-3.4 inches thick that is (across) and around the range of 4-6 inches long very very sticky hairs are long lashes and wide jagged base and thin tip the trichomes at 5weeks are milky at about 20-30% under 100x mag I use a small Microscope I got from radio shack for about $20. usa.
I use "Cutting edge Solutions" for my nutes they work great and the excess I throw to the veggie garden and house plants.

here is my Flower ratio Full flower near end of period.
Bloom 60 ml per 2.5 gal
Mirco 30 ml per 2.5 gal
Uncle Johns blend 20 ml per 2.5 gal

bloom 0-6-5
Micro 6-0-0
UJ 0-0-2

My Lights are Vitalite T5 8x54w nice lamp not much heat at all and has a good flower period I have seen over the use some six harvest now that it may take a week to two weeks longer to get the buds just right (trichomes nice and amber) under microscope.. but well worthe "no foot print" as far a LE are concerned..

My photo periods are 12/12 (on/off) in flower from the start and I tend to move it up to 14/10 to help and cause the buds to plump up, it works great in getting a good 20-30% more yield in bud width and length. I then at last week as I flush for that week go back to 12/12.. I let it stay as long as possible till I see 80-80% of the trichomes to turn milky and 50-60% are nice and beer like amber color you can see the resins oozing from the leafs under microscope.

I am also trying out Cutting Edge Solutions. I am doing a comparison grow at the moment with foxfarm...same strain and room. I noticed the Cutting Edge treats my palnts wonderfully. I noticed you dont use the grow with cutting edge...Are you mimicking the Lucas formula just using the micro and bloom?

Actually I do use the grow just in the begining and for my clones once to fully root. I use the olivia'c cloning solution I have had 100% success rate with that.
Once I'm three to four weeks into flower I go with the Uncle Johns, makes the buds just explode in size I have also been playing around with the light times seems to adding a good amount of body to the over all size leafs also get really dark, I have had odd buds turn purplish and adding a little cold air from the night temps outside. FoxFarm I have heard some good things about it.. Might give it a shot.

Oh gotcha...I am using the chart at the moment with all 3 parts (micro,grow,bloom) at full strength and the plants are taking it well. Then i bumped my nutes up to full strength with foxfarm and got a little burn. The foxfarm also had a lot more yellowing of the plant. had to add Cal-Mag to correct that deficincy. So far the cutting edge solution is winning out health wise. On my next clone I will try just micro and bloom and see if it works as well.

Try the Olivia's Cloning solution for eatable plants.. the stuff Rock's, I use a air stone in a rubbermaid container cut some small holes in it and use the 3" net pots put in some of the wool.. looks like insulation actually haha.. they root literally in about a week two max.. I have had 100% success so far with the Olivia's.. I use also the T5 4x24w vitalume by sunleaves these T5's work awesome. Do you use a tds meter to check your solution levels? I tend to near the end of the flower period 60-75 days bump it to 1900 at times I have yet to get burn with the CE nutes. I will write out my nute schedule.. All this is of course dependent on they type of high you like.. I have friends who are cerebal smokers and the other love the body buzz. so the time is really based on how you like your high to be. Me I love the full body make your lips numb zzzzzzz.. haha..

I use DWC as well. I am using 5 gallon buckets and 5 or 6 inch net pots with airstones. I don't use anything to clone my babies . Just let them close to the water and they will root in about a week to 10 days. I use 1000 watt hps for flower and 400 watt Mh for veg. I used a cheap meter from sunleaves for my first grow. Didnt come out that great. Bought a blue lab combo meter (PH,PPM,Temp) about a month ago and viola I already see a huge difference. I like both kinds of buzzes, depending on the time of the day. Is Uncle John's worth checking out? I hear pros and cons. Guess Ill have to find out for myself.
