Biden withdrew this morning and endorsed the future POTUS, Ms Kamala Harris.
She's going to get every person of color, all Generation X & Z voters & all Unions, all the women, & everyone that doesn't have a GED with an IQ above 60.
In other words, Trump is fucked.

The more I think about it, the more I would really like to see someone like Liz Cheney as VP. Knowing up front in 2028 she is going to run as the Republican nominee to try to drag that party back into at least line with 'We The People' and not a cult leader.
Maybe a Mitt Romney, or some old Republican that has the respect of that party but not going to run for POTUS in 2028. Or that Flake guy who retired from the senate right off the bat when he saw what Trump was.
I heard someone toss the name Pete out there, and he would be fantastic, but I still think there should be a hard reach across the isle to the people that don't consider themselves Democrats but continue to love our nation not being a dictatorship.

I'd like someone to be able to use the line 'I am more of a Republican than you are' to Vance and mean it.

when yesterday it was announced, the first name that popped in my head was Liz Cheney, then i started thinking we'll if her maybe also Adam Kiz. Really don't see Romney going for it, he's no spring chicken, then again, who knows at this point.......
On the Dem side i've seen Newsom, Pete Buttigege, Gov of Penn, and a few others.....all look like decent picks
what i know know she's got a lot of good advisers, and a hell of a mentor with this going forward, it will be interesting to see her pick overall
Think Biden did a good thing, and imo i think this last Covid hit is what did him in plus all the miles he's done.....i do thank him for what he did these last 3 1/2 yrs....

The Dems should go for broke and choose Buttigege for VP and really shake things up.
He's smart as fuck and articulate and he would help to bring our political system into the 21st century.
Plus every LGBTQ vote in America would be a lock.

Most LGBTQ voters were already going to vote democrat, Buttigege is sharp but brings little to the table for Kamala. I like Mark Kelly, he's from a swing state, former combat fighter pilot and Astronaut and leaves little for the republicans to find fault with.

Yes, he's definitely in or should in as a strong contender for the nomination, I agree.
He would appeal to a broad base of voters for sure.
This is going to be a very tough decision, and a critical one, of that it is certain.
