Well said, but when there are 30 of them busting in, with full body armor and automatic weapons...you would be lucky to injure one, and very lucky to kill one. Your still dead and they have all of your shit. They win and we still loose.
u didnt watch the videos did u? lmao. they were only wearing vests. i could hit a face sized target from across my living room with my 1911. and it was more or less ment as a metophor. i would defend my home at all costs. unless they were coming to lock me up becuz of my own stupidity or becuz of a crime i had committed. besides all u would have needed to kill those cops was a nice rifle. a simple fmj .223 would have gone thru the vests no problem. they werent very bright popo.
I see your point. You could have a M60 machine gun with belts and belts of ammo. If you don't have any tactical training on how to engage with it, you will probably not have the knowledge to know that when you open up with that thing YOU become a hot priority target.
Your example seems a bit too hollywood to me. A town full of drunk rednecks who are full of fear sure as shit could lay alot of lead down.
Likewise there are a whole bunch of war hardened veterans out there in every town in the nation. One of the byproducts of 100 years of wars.
