Multi strain 12-12 from seed grow

Hi SV, nice journal, nice setup.

It looks to me like you could improve your yield without doing much (LST), unless you like to grow 1 massive cola per plant. 2+ oz is my average (I fucked up once in a while and get the 1 oz plant too!!), I have reach 1/4 lbs and I currently have a TGA agent orange that might bust that record. From looking at your picture, you are doing great, but if you pull 1-2 oz a plant, you may want to try it in supersoil, 12/12 from seed is made for supersoil!! hehe that's personal preference I know I just think you might be pleasantly surprised with this style of growing using SS. The only downside iis bigger container and higher humidity to deal with. And if you like feeding with the bottles too I guess coco is the way to go for you. I saw your pic in the TGA section and saw you were doing 12/12 from seed as well. You can swing by my journal if you wish to see how the SS is treating me. (EDIT: I just uploaded a few of my 12/12 ers, a few of my better ones too)

Do you find that pure indicas dont do as well 12/12 from seed, almost like they dont have time to get big before they start budding?

I did start to lst most of them but my brother ah a bad accident so all I did for month or so was just feed them and not take much notice of them, just once a week I'd take them out check them over.
i have thought about supersoil but have lots of things happening in the next 6 months, plus don't have anywhere to mix and store all the ingredients
The indicas do tend to stay really short with just one main cola, would be goods for a sog.
All the TGA Gera I've grown has been really nice, Chernobyl is definitely one I'll be growing again next grow, I think I got about 2.5 of her on the last run. Nearly run out though,only about 14gs left

don't have anything important to say, but i do say, i have definitely noticed that pure indicas are not good for 12/12! ha.. unless you're cool with only producing a quarter or half per plant. i ran some LA CON's and they did horribly as far as yield goes. they were potent as fuck!! but not much bud. anyways, i'm done now.

still I am getting between 1-2 oz with the indicas, just having a hard time getting more, you can definitely improve the yield on the indicas through proper training and get multiple tops going or one main cola with multiple good side bud, only the side branches dont stretch at all!! and I try to spread the lower branch away from the plant.

This one is one of my best indica 12/12 so far, I am considering letting her go longer and get some pollen out of her, strain is Oh God

very nice. i think the reason why i yielded so low was because i was only using a 150w hps and a 90w LED.. i've recently upgraded to a 400w MH/HPS so we'll see how those results turn out. very excite.

Week 8 of flowering.
The lemon skunk,Querkle, bomb and 1 LSD have around 2 weeks left maybe sooner, going to hit them up with some ripen for the last 10 days. 1 of the kiwi skunk looks really shit maybe end up with 1/4 and same for 1 of the LSD's(dump the runts ASAP, don't waste your time) all are looking really nice. I'm going to try whole plant drying because of a thread on here. Went and got a another tent to dry them in and 2 inline fans for air in and out, only thing is hey came today's are fucking tiny lol.

Week 9.4 of flowering
Been away in Spain for a week and had my bro looking after the kids ,was a little worried as it was so close to the end but he's done a good job and fucking sods law my ph pen broke on him the day after I left . I'd say they are all except 2 are looking pretty much done so will be chopping them this weekend. They've swelled nicely in that week and look really nice. I'm going to whole plant dry them by hanging them not upside down but from the main cola so the leaves won't rap round the bud as much. Oh and the first joint which is Chernoby is fucking me up since I've smoked nothing at all in that week.
I've been having the most crazy vivid dreams and nightmares in the last week since not smoking, to the point I'm waking up 3 times a night. When I was a kid I used to get the most crazy nightmares where I would be screaming as loud as I could and just freaking out(all while being asleep) and wouldn't remember a thing in the morning except I was fucking shitting my self and my brothers and mum telling me in the morning ,it was a little like that but not as intense.

Nowadays I only get them very rarely except when I haven't smoked any weed which is only when I go on holiday. I remember the last vivid dream I had Wednesday night, my bro had killed 5 of the plants when I opened the tent and had left 2 just sitting outside the tent and then I started calling him allsorts and that's when I woke up.
Had a really weird recurring dream when I was younger, used to have it all the time but won't go into it as it would make me sound like a right weirdo lol

...sounds counter productive? I would imagine hanging the plant right side up would seem to drain the last living cells away from the buds (which is why people hang/dry upside down)

From what I understand drying the plant whole keeps a lot more moisture so it takes longer to dry and almost takes away the jar burping process when curing. Hanging upside down makes the leaves rap around the buds so doing it the other way they won't as much. A thread on here inspired me to give It a try and from what others who tried it for the first time have said it works a treat

Well the new drying tent is a fighting nightmare, ripped it a little 4 times after it just barely fit round the frame and now can't get the very last zip done up. I know I'll end up break ing the zip as in slightly heavy handed. DON'T BUT CHEAP ASS TENTS. And it's fucking massive, atleast 8" bigger than my other tent and they were meant to be the same size

if i experienced that i would have flipped shit. whatever that means.

Week 10 of flowering.
6 came down last night 2 lemon, 1 Querkle, 1 thc bomb, 1 1 LSD and a kiwi. I didn't end up doing the whole plant dry as the tent was too big for the room and the other half was kicking off so I had to revert back to trimming normally And hanging up branches.
All the bud is rock hard but it only took me 2hrs to trim the 6 so either I've got really good at it or my yield won't be great , I'm hoping the 2nd one.

Week 10.6 of flowering
The last 5 came down today, 2qleaners,1 bomb, 1 LSD and a 1 kiwi. One of the Qleaners and the bomb had a little bud rot in the top cola on each of the plants, only lost about and 1/8 off of each one so not the end of the world.
The bomb smells so lemony, even more so than lemon skunk so maybe I mixed a couple of the seed up either way it all looks really nice and its a massive shame I'm not going to get to smoke it
