Multi Strain MMJ Grow Secret Jardin 120 Twin 830 Watts w/ CO2 Injection

Hello all! I am finally legal and starting up in the growing world again. I will do my best explaining my setup and providing pictures when I have them or when needed to keep this journal interesting. I am a fairly seasoned grower with 5 harvests under my belt on and off over the years. Still don't know everything by no means...lol

I am growing in a Secret Jardin 120 Twin. The top veg/clone tent is lit with a 8 bulb 4ft T5. It also has a 6 inch passive intake and exhaust with a Hydrofarm 400cfm fan with speed controller sucking the hot air out of the top tent. For air movement inside the top tent there is a 6 inch fan from walmart. Temps seem to stay between 72-77.

The lower flowering tent is Controlled by a Sentinel CHHC-4 and lit with 2 430 watt HPS Hortilux Eye bulbs in a dual cooltube. Venting the cooltube is another 6 inch 400cfm Hydrofarm fan. The lower tent has a 6 inch passive intake and a carbon scrubber attached to yet another 6" 400cfm Hydrofarm fan scrubbing and venting the hot air out of the lower tent. Also, like the upper tent for air circulation inside the lower tent there is another 6 inch fan from walmart. I also have a 15Lb. CO2 tank freshly filled and a Titan Controls Regulator.

I have Foxfarms full line of Nutrients and micronutrients. Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Kangaroots, Microbe Brew, Open Sesame, Beastie Blooms, Cha Ching, and Sledgehammer Flush. I am using Foxfarm's Ocean Forest Soil and Root Pots.

Strains I am growing as of yet are 1 Bubble Gum, 1 Jilly Bean, 2 Purple Kush, 1 Northern Berry, 1 Lemon Kush and 1 Jack Herer.

The 2 Purple Kush, 1 Lemon Kush and the 1 Northern Berry were clipped and placed in plugs on Dec. 6th. They were put into soil in solo cups on Dec. 19th and transplanted into 1 Gallon Root Pots 12/30. Then into 3 Gallon Root Pots yesterday 1/13

The Jilly Bean and Bubble Gum were acquired from another mmj grower on 12/28. The Jilly Bean was clipped on 11/6 and placed into a solo cup on an unknown date and then transplanted into a 1 gallon Root Pot 12/30. The Bubble Gum was clipped on 11/18 and placed into a solo cup on an unknown date and then transplanted into a 1 gallon Root Pot 12/30. These were also transplanted yesterday into 3 gallon root pots.

The Jack Herer was acquired 1/12 and was informed it had rooted on 1/7. It is still in a solo cup.

After I cleaned up where the ballasts/exhaust fans/co2 tank/controller timers etc.


Close up of the CHHC-4 Controller which is totally new to me and I am having issues getting the co2 ppms stable and to not go above what I set it at which is puzzling me so if anyone on here has experience with Sentinel controllers the CHHC-4 in particular please help me out.

And these were taken on 1/10 or Day 23 after the purple and lemon kushs were rooted. So I guess they had their 2 weeks as starts and 9 days of actual vegging. The northern berry is one week behind the kush plants so it is on day 3 of actual vegging. The Jilly Bean was rooted somewhere around Nov. 16 so minus it's 2 weeks as a start it has been technically vegging for 5 weeks 5 days although it was not acquired by me until 12/28 and was not taken out of its 10oz. red solo cup until 12/30. The Bubble Gum was rooted on or around 11/28 so minus it's two weeks and it's at 4 weeks veg.





















Put the Jilly Bean and the bigger Purple Kush in the lower tent (still on 24/0) trying to get my flower tent configured with my new controller so I figured I might as well have a few plants in there to soak up the co2, these two were the tallest so I figured what the hay even if it doesnt do much for them in vegetation. They were getting to be a little tall for the top tent anyways.


And then a current pic of the top tent as well. Had an issue with my T5 falling on my Bubble Gum when I was messing around with the placement of the exhaust fan and leaned on the top of the tent. Needless to say I got four clones that I didn't want to take as of yet. LOL They may or may not make it. I had to deal with the light being remounted and the broken branches sat around for awhile before I could get them in rooting gel. This is also the first pic with the Jack Herer in it. And it looks as if I cut of off the edge of the pic and you can't see the other Purple Kush. I will have to get another pic taken. This was taken last night.

i just bought one of these tents 2 days ago and had 2 corners rip on me,
but im getting it replaced today afternoon and ill throw some pics of what im doing.

the only problem im having is the veg room is a little short..
im running same t5 setup in veg and in flower 1000watt hps

the issue i ran into was i cant really get a good 12" plant without having a tiny pot..

i cant really have my flower light on 24/0 cause i got girls in it already to keep my roto going.


are you using smart pots? and do you keep them in the one gal pot all the way through flower?

and your not alone in the world of dropping lights haha, i lost a good top on my sensi star electricity+weight+fragile plants+being stoned= not a really good idea hahaha

nutes i water every 2-3 days and use nothing but coco and dont even bother with ph

veg on the left and flower on the right both are around 75 degrees

1000watt hps and 4 inch fan with carbon filter and t5 8 tube in veg

strains(flower) on the left is big wreck and the right green crack(grand daddy hustle) these 2 were given to me by a friend i dont grow them long and skinny

strains(veg) here i had ordered seeds from a pick n mix seed bank, for the seeds i have 1 purple haze#1 fem, 2 dr. grinspoon fem and 2 purple buddha normal. other strains are sensi star, bull rider and big wreck.

now i had replace this tent due to bad stitching in the same area on both tents kinda weird, so replaced it the next day and much more happier hahaha. but i noticed one thing from when i first set it up to the second time i set it up.

the first time i tied my t5s to the bar tight as i could and still barley had any room to get to 12" plant with a decent size pot. and like a stoner i dropped my lights and snapped a few but only 2 nothing major :[

so i got my replacement and i decided to bend the the metal for the hanger hook or tie holes on my t5 flat (im sure i have a different one from you) and set my light on top of the bars(in pic above). so now it would zip up all way around without a whole lot of pressure and i didnt force it just work with it and move it around sometimes.

but made big difference in height and room for full 12" plants and nice size pot i got some smart pots and getting more coco soon to do my transplants and will update with pics

and the reason for my leaves looking like that is cause i had some spider mite from my friends plants, and i spayed them and the water was a little too hot but other then that they are very healthy

Been thinking about a TWIN tent for a long time but never see any forum threads or even posts about growing in them.

but after this I am getting a Secret Jardan twin, was gone get the home box but people have recommended Jardan to me because better stitching is better
