here you guys go, harvested the blue og tonight. whole house smells like rotten blue berries and im smoking on some awesome scissor hash right now.
heres the 4 top colas
got a ton of trim from this plant. cant wait to make some hash for this strain. got quite the hash collection ill show off one of these days lol.
tomorrow im putting grinspoon outdoors to finish off and using the grow to veg clones in and get them ready for outdoor while my super soil is cooking.

well guys here comes the LONG awaited harvest of the dr.grinspoon!
here you can see shes obviously ready to come down.
did a little light deprivation experiment with it by giving it no light at all its last week of life. theory is its suppose to stress it into producing more trichs.

and heres the harvest pics of the dr.grinspoon!
heres the entire harvest. you know the plant had pretty much NO popcorn buds...and you guys thought it would be ALL popcorn bud
not a huge yielding plant but i think it will still pull a decent weight in the end.
here the buds up a little closer, a LOT of foxtailing as expected of this stain....what a pain in the ass it was to trim that plant!
and heres one last pic that i really liked and wanted to share with you all before im done and smoke this marble sized ball of grinspoon scissor hash i got from this sticky girl

havent smoked any yet, just went into cure on the grinspoon. gonna give it a couple weeks to cure first. and ya it was a bitch to trim but i got her done. thanks bass!

Dr. Grinspoon smoke report!
so smoked the grinspoon for the first time today and have been smoking it all day since i tried it.
SMELL: the bud kind of spicy smelling with a hint of citrus. kind of hard to explain the spice smell.
TASTE: when smoked out of my bubbler the bud didnt have any extreme flavors, somewhat tasted the way it smells. kinda spicy with just a hint of citrus. when smoked out of the vaporizer the bud had almost a celery after taste i wasnt too fond of.
POTENCY: 7 out of 10
EFFECT: somewhat stoney but at the same time uplifting and energetic. seems to take you to a nice even level of stoned and keep you there. doesnt make you too tired and still able to function even when smoking heavily.
YIELD: medium / high. breeder description would make you believe the plant is a very low yielder but unless i got a rare pheno it did surprisingly well for yield being one of my higher yielders.
SUMMARY: its good bud but idk if i would grow it again. theres nothing extraordinary about the bud, and with the 16 week flowering time from seed to smokable bud takes a minimum of a half a year to grow. the foxtailing only seems to appear on the top of the colas and is a pain to trim. so with the bud being nothing special i think theres no real reason to grow this strain. again theres nothing wrong with this strain other than the flowering times are just too high to make it worth it.

Great smoke report...kinda disappointed to read that grinspoon was not exceptional...some reviewers really hyped it up as the most amazing smoke on the planet...

ya maybe it was a different pheno? what i heard about the grinspoon was it was a low yielder but great bud. i got a good yielder with ok bud. again the strain would be a lot better if the flower time wasnt so long and there was a little less foxtailing.

How did the Acapulco Gold finish up? I didn't see a smoke report on it but assume it is cured.

man....your lucky its 2 am and im awake and bored lol...
barneys farm - acapulco gold: about a month into growth i fed all 8 strains i was running a 1/4 strength dose of nutes and it burn the shit out of the plant although the rest needed more. plant never visually bounced back and was stunted. plant finished flowering with low yields and didnt taste that great but was still pretty potent.
reserva privada - headband: this strain started to hermi at harvest time which wasnt too big of a deal to me since it was too late to hurt anything but i thought it should still be noted. skunky smell and taste. good yielder. smoke is smooth and very uplifting. somewhat energetic high. i call it my energy weed lol.
reserva privada - skywalker og kush: gonna start off by saying i love this strain. like most OGs this strain stretches a little bit but can be maintained by topping a lot. like after every other node. it was a semi low yielder but the buds are worth it. nice fat, dense, sticky buds. super frosty buds. has kind of a fuely smell to it and a chemical taste to it almost. very stoney high good to help you sleep. also makes me forget shit lol.
g13 labs - blue og: gotta say i love everything about this strain but the flower times on it are a little long upwards of almost 14 weeks! but i would say worth the wait. very potent, dense, frosty, sticky buds. smells and tastes like blueberries and like the skywalker OG pretty stoney. this OG strain does not stretch at all. very good yielder.
TGA subcool - chernobyl: gotta say this was the stinkiest strain in this grow. not stinky in a bad way but the smell dominated the smell of the rest. any time the grow room was open the whole house smelled like i poured fresh lime juice all over the house. pretty frosty and tastes awesome. munchies are a big side effect of this one.
TGA subcool - qleaner: this one is very piney in smell and taste. kind of like pine sol....some people like it but pine is not my favorite flavor or smell in a strain by far. pretty potent and makes me kind of sleepy. buds are pretty frosty and its also a good yielder.
ch9 seeds - super haze: got this as a freebie and was a stand in for my trainwreck that died as soon as it popped the surface for some reason. the strain came out a lot better than i expected. huge fat hairy buds. kind of a citrus smell and taste. pretty potent and gives a good mix of body and head high.
barneys farm - dr.grinspoon: super long flower period on this one coming in at 16 weeks. the buds are pretty frosty and the bud is potent. kind of a spicy smell and taste to it with a hint of citrus.
