multiple kinds of light ok?

I have a CFL that makes my grow room look pink. I am about to flower and was thinking about adding a 600 W HPS would this be ok or should i take the CFL down?

Well ... my input is this... I had a 400 watt HPS for my last 8 grows,... than I decided to add a 6500lumen cfl and I'm pretty sure it is effective.... just look at it like this.... the more lumens... the more light can hit the plants nodes... the more buds you'll end up with ... GOOD LUCK GROWIN

if the light is orange not pink, its great for flowering. I have orange fluoros for box flowering, and I find its better than large grow hps for manageability and almost equal quality. Mind as well use both, just make sure the cfls are close to the plants, whilst the hps a few feet away at least, especially at first. More lumens the better, but that hps will fluctuate temps a few degrees, so you may have to manage temperature control, and you will need to vent with an hps system.

Multiple kinds of light will kill your plants! If you can control the environment then more watts is always a good idea.
