Multiple lights.

Im looking at using 3 600w hps lights in a formation like this [] [] [] and im wondering how many feet apart should each 600w be?

That is what i am going to do in a 5x10 foot room evenly spaced

Space them based on coverage. A 600 watt hps should cover about a 3x3 zone so you could do 2 or 2.5 feet apart it would give you a little overlap on the light since edges can be weak. I’m not an expert in this I only run one light so you may want to wait for someone with more experience in this

A 600 can cover a 4' X 4' footprint in the right reflector no problem. Therefore 4' between lights should still cover fully. Especially at canopy height. So 12' X 4' frame.
