Langbeinite is impossible to source in the UK, same with fish bone meal, shrimp/crustacean meal, greensand, crabshell meal, the list goes on. You have to be creative to get your amendments over here

Horse feed shop for alfalfa pellets

Fishing bait shop for fish meal, wormcastings and worms

...........and a guy on ebay who as well as selling a version of 'supersoil', also sells 'crabshell meal', although I wouldn't put it straight into the soil in the state it turns up, it'd still be there 10 years later, they're like half crabs, LOL, but at least you know what you've got:bigjoint:

Do the indoor grow shops not stock that stuff? Or are they just too few and far in between? My wife and I our dying to move to England after our recent visit. My first thought was to just open up an indoor grow store cause I didn't see any while I was there. But then I googled after I got back home in the states and there are a bunch apparently. Lol.

Hey, You could open a grow shop and you will probably do well, because there arnt enough...

I think you mite want to reconsider moving to England though... I live in London and have done for 30 years, its a S**t-hole declining into a bigger S**t-hole

Just curious Rasta Roy, what part of england you wanna move to?

And what @DonBrennon is saying is true, its not that grow shops are too far in between, they just do not stock it, and even if they tried there are no bigger suppliers to buy from. Not much demand for the Organics you have in the states...

To add to his list, seabird guano is also near impossible to find...

You're in a shit hole, I'm in a shit box. Lol, it's all the same. I like your guy's food better! My wife and I have been speaking with an immigration lawyer discussing what we need to do to buy a house and relocate our businesses to another country. We we're initially aiming for Canada but after our recent European trip we are going through a lot of soul searching. We loved London, Sheffield, and Derbyshire. We haven't made any big decisions yet, we've still got a list of places to visit before we decide. And I'm gonna grow here legally in the states for another couple years (just renewed all my licenses), along with run my soil and fert business. We can do what we do pretty much anywhere and we've grown weary of the American experience in the last fifteen years lol. We are ready to give somewhere else a go, I thought Canada was the spot but those steak and ale pies at The Nottingham House we're so good I would give up growing just to live near by lol.

Wood ash will supply K and a bunch of micros and molasses is also a good source. Alfalfa meal is 3-1-2. It does seem Espoma should have a U.K. Distributor and they have kmag.

In the UK don't they farm? Forget hydro grow shops, go to a real garden or livestock feed shop. They have things in bigger bags for cheaper than any hydro grow shop.

Also if you're adding organic phosphorous like fish bone meal to your soil, the plant regulates P uptake, so it's hard to add too much.
If the plant regulates P uptake.

Why do we see so many P tox plants on this site?
I find it easy to overdo P, very easy.

I see them in organic too. Example: The Rev's soil is too high in P and he then spikes it again in bloom.....Nasty mix.

In synthetic's Si helps regulate P but, I have yet to see a plant not cross the line when over feed P. Not to mention that soil plants take all the Si it needs from the soil.....

I find it harder to over do K.

I half the recommended application rates and have had good results. Have only needed to replenish it every other grow.
I still, personally, avoid MPP.......I have an aversion to high P. I choose K sulfate for the extra S....2 birds with one stone.
The new soil just built. Is amended with H2MnO5S or Manganese sulfate in small quantity. It is balanced (closely) with Fe. The idea being that the Mn actually increases THC compound levels..... I did a thread on that. Tweeter gave info on Fe needs and soil ppm values in that..... We'll see how it goes
