hey i have a question about "shakers" or "hood scoops". ive been looking on the internet and cant find the name for those big shakers that actually poke out through the hood of a car. all im getting is lame scoops that just look like vents. here is a picture of an example:

Well the reason that intake in your pic sits up so high is because it's on top of a supercharger. Are you just looking for the scoop part with the mesh in it? Look in JEG's or something.

makes sense that its on a supercharger. im just starting to build up cars. i found this dodge charger just sitting at this skydiving airport. has its engine in it and everything so im gonna see who owns it and try to buy it. but yeah im looking at the scoop with the mesh in it. so i guess it is just called a scoop.

Ah, Dodge Charger is my dream car. Just my 2 cents. :bigjoint:
