Mushrooms and overwatering

So I had been overwatering my 5 gallon pots. So I drilled holes all over the side of them. Ther are 6 plants. Were in week 3 of flower. 1000w hps. 65-80 degrees from night to day, humidity level 30-60% medium is viagro potting mix with some grow mulch. Super cheap and not good for weed I know but that's all I had. So I didn't water for 5 days and it got real humid last night. This morning I got tiny white mushrooms escaping from the holes I drilled in the sides of the buckets. I read that this isnt really a bad thing but a sign of healthy soil. But what do you guys think. And does anyone know if these are possibly psilocybin? Thanks all

They're likely to be from mycorrhizae in the soil. Mushrooms are basically the fruit of the fungus under the soil, they release the spores that colonize the other plants. They're not likely to be magic mushrooms, but I don't know how to tell.
Maybe we have a mycologist as a member who can tell you. Or you can check the hallucinatory substances thread.

Good luck. I seriously doubt they're psychoactive though.

They look nothing like the Liberty Caps we used to pick in various cow pastures here in Oregon. Tread carefully before you consume any wild mushrooms; some are quite toxic.

Likely Parasola plicatilis, but impossible to tell for sure from the photos. Their edibility status I don't think has been tested. I advise you to not be the first. lol
