Parliament Funkadelic needs no introduction. This song describes the intergalactic battle where positive energy of funk shining from Star Child (You know, Star Child, the protector of the pleasure principle.) overwhelms the antagonist, Sir Nose who initially refuses to dance and is 'devoid of funk'. It's strange and hilarious and it's fantastic.

Gang Gang Dance is comprised of a few wizards from Brooklyn. This acid drenched tribal EDM via live drums will usher you out of your state of mind. Saint Dymphna, the album upon which this song was released, remains one of the most unique music pieces I've ever heard.

Mammatus projects planet melting astral riffs into the sky from a shoreside campfire in Northern California. They have used and continue to use sonic guitar fuzz to obliterate asteroids hurled to our dear Earth from deep space dwelling dragons, eventually engaging in sword play and slaying the beast. Toe is from Japan, they're incredible musicians with a rare ability to be simultaneously technically magnificent and easy to listen to. This is a live take of a very beautiful song with an incredible drum part. Is it math rock? Asian-Balearic Jazz Fusion? Does it fucking matter?

The Holy Modal Rounders were junkies from the lower East side NYC circa early '60s and are credited with being the first band to say 'psychedelic' in a recorded song . One guy said of the other; "I've never known anyone else to take acid for a toothache" They also called themselves The Motherfucker Creek Baby Rapers for a few performances (I think during the era surrounding The Moray Eel Eats the Holy Modal Rounders). The Rounders became the Fugs when the 2 weirdos found a backing band, song structure that exceeded traditional folk and blues arrangements from Anthology of American Folk, and more drugs. Holy Modal Rounders 'Bird Song' is featured on the Easy Rider soundtrack- other than that, both The Fugs and the Rounders have remained next to unknown by anyone with the slightest direction in life.
