if your runing indicas you play bollywood soundtracks and if your growing sativas you play rage killing in the name of on repeat.I wish I could run multiple tests but il be running various upbeat dance music tracks with a decent subwoofer
Really? 30% extra growth from mozart? For years I played Mozart to germing and mid vegging plants
before they hit the greenhouse, as they beam under the T8 setup I have ...
I see 30% increase in growth on average
..this year I've caught 1 hours of pre dawn bird sounds
that I'm gonna replace soon ...just as a test
cause of this I fuck'in hate Mozart
and forget that Mythbusters Crap, they did a similar test
but as usual with most merican capitalists failed
in the brain cell department too complete
Hes right this is the only genre that has been scientifically proven to increase plant growth in respect to both speed and number of flowers. Rock, country, metal, dubstep, rap, yadda, yadda, have either not made a difference or actually harmed the plant as in the case of metal.Preferably Mozart or Beethoven
I was going to say the same thing, 40hz really vibrates, i bet high hz would even be better up to like 150hz2cents..
i would assume it would fall under "frequencies" when it comes to plants, a quick internet search would provide some peer-reviewed studies
Well if vibrations do it why not just ad ur mom's vibrater to the pot on an AC/DC adapter. Kind of serious though....
Rofl dicks coming out of your soil
Yeah... but playing music is virtually free and easy to do... so in my opinion why not? There are absolutely "studies" that found increase in plant growth from different types of music. Unfortunately, many of them are sooo shoddy in a scientific sense that the results are meaningless.
I just read one paper by two Indian grad students (lame ones at that) where there study looked at 5 groups of 4 plants. I'm sorry, but a sample size of 4 is not large enough to show a trend. The also "forgot" to actually complete a statistical analysis and generate a P value to actually demonstrate a positive correlation between music and growth.
As a guy with a BS in wildlife science (which is a shit load of statistics) and a MS in ecology, I can tell you that many of these "studies" are garbage at best.
Go look at your 30 or 40 plants in your veg area. I guarantee there is a differnece in total plant height between them... it's called natural variability (and lack of environmental control). But, as MANY a weed grower has done before you, feel free to chalk it up to any one condition.
Let's just say this, there are many more areas that deserve far more of your attention in terms of boosting growth and yield then playing music.
Smart plants!Mine have NPR playing all the time.
They like Blues, Jazz, The Moth, Wait, Wait. Don't tell me, A Prairie Home Companion and Car talk...........They seem to dislike Republicans!
