If your plants are like mine they aint going to like that shit selection of tunes...!
From experience i'm going to tell you that you need some east coast west coast rivalry going down in the veg room, when you step in you need to feel that vibe, were talking none other than Tupac vs The Notorious B.I Mutherfuckig G. Alternate their songs in rap battle mode that you can download from itunes as an app, just go to their site and enter in 'rap battle playback app' and it should be near the top on the first page. With this type of setup i want speakers covering just one wall of the grow tent, the idea is to make a wall of sound that just keep hitting those leaves with every beat, this is going to average out your transpiration gradients on your leaves nicely and play it 24/0 no breaks.
For the flower room your going to have to step that shit up, nothing but hard drum and base, certain techno tracks work wonders in the last two weeks for the final swell before harvest but were not talking that pussy type of soft techno, it needs to be mashed hard with the drum n base and bpm of 130 or over. This ones different in speaker placement, you got to cover every corner with a speaker and your going to want at least 2 400w subs at canopy level, the idea here is the sound hits those leaves from all angles and the canopy gets some extra bass to really push heat Co2 and leaf cooling gradients.
Some say its not needed but i like to start my seeds off with a little 21 pilots just to promote rooting and ease them in. I never saw much increase but my thinking is it will harden them off come transplant to the veg room. Another not needed thing i do is play 'Ode to remembrance' when i cut down the final harvest, it seems fitting that at the going down of the sun we shall still remember the fallen at the time of the finished cure and smoke.
Past harvest there is no scientific reason to play music to the bud, some have tried but reported that it was just a waste of electricity, maybe i'll leave that one for others to try as i doubt any kind of sonic frequency will speed up the dry and cure that i know of. Anyway i hope this is helpful and like me you found the extra 0.1% increase in yield well worth the noise complaints from the neighbors and police
