Musics Effect on growing plants?!

I know Its a long shot, and I know its a superstision but I have been seeing stuff online/tv (Mythbusters, Weird or Wha) saying that there is a possible link between plants and music. Maybe its simply from the vibrations given off from the music but Today I rigged up hanging computer speakers and plugged em into my ipod. It doesnt cost me any energy so I dont have much to lose, Just wondering if anyone has attemped this out there on RIU.

On another note todays playlist includes the "Best of Bob Marley" I figure he loved the plants so maybe the plants will love him

well if you watched the mithbusters episode... it has no effect... pure superstition.

i also heard talking to your plants makes them grow better .. might have a tiny effect ... maybe because of increased carbon dioxide. could also be superstition but i think there is a little truth to that one.

They grew best to heavy metal on mythbusters!! I think im going to play trance music

wonder if they tried the bird sounds ,they say sounds outside of what humans can hear may help,google it ..there is a guy that sells a CD claiming your plants will grow better with the sounds

anything to give them more love helps,so if playing music makes you happy,they are happy

i played timberland to my plants on my last grow and all my plants ended up dying, i guess they just dont like timberland!

haha exactly, Wether it really helps them or not, Love is love! Im always playing music in my room anyway so I misewell let the plants in on some tunes! I even started playing guitar to them today
