there pretty cool not real comfortable though . it will roll up to 1/4 the size of a sleeping bag. it has screen sides and a roof made from tent material . if u get one set it up before u use it & spray the roof with silicon spray and let it dry good. no bugs can get to u in theses jungle hammocks. it does not matter if u cant find dry ground as long as there is trees

Self inflating mats, a bivvy bag and a 4 season sleeping bag are also pretty handy. The mat will be comfortable, the bivvy will keep you dry and the sleeping bag will keep you warm.

The water purification tablets are iodine I think, I don't really like them as they make the water taste strange - they work in a pinch. I prefer the straws, you can just fill a thermos with any water you find and drink it through the straw.

Hammocks are good.

Wear clothing in layers, instead of a t-shirt and a down jacket. This way you can remove or add layers if you feel uncomfortable.

FINALLY SOMEONE SAID FLINT!
what happens when the lighter runs out guys :/

also fishing line and sewing needle and thread
flare [to scare the shit out of a bear or any other beast that is too powerful for the rifle as i wouldnt take anything more then a 22 i myself have a colt m16 semi auto 22 thats pretty much self silenced you cant hear shit from over 20 feet away]
a tupperware container
one of those flashlights that dont run out of batteries because you just shake them
thermal blanket
lots of plant seeds [not just mj guys.. but mj too XD]
a pot [not too big]
thermus or canteen
parka
yes you have to have toilet paper and a toothbruth unless you want bugs in your asshole and bad fucked up shit in your mouth that will probably go septic and kill you after a month of not cleaning
The same thing that happens when the flint wears down. Besides, when a bic runs out of fluid, you can take the cage off and you have a flint right there.

Did anonymous say he carries his own tinder? Why? The shit is everywhere.

Because you can't always guarantee it'll be dry. Whereas if you have an airtight tin full of tinder you know you have a decent chance of making a fire whatever the weather.
