Yup it's true,,,my 12 year old 2003 Ford E-150 van finally bit the dust,,,with 318,000 gruelling torturous km's on her 4.2 L V-6,,,she still runs good and looks ok but is pissing out engine coolant from the back end of the engine when you shut her off ,,mechanic said it would be expensive to fix so I'm getting a new one,,,she's been real good to me and has prolly paid for herself several times,,on the brighter side,,I have a friend who works for a Ford dealer just down the street from me,,she's in the finance depatrment but can make a sale as well,, and scored me a 2014 E-250 SuperDuty van that was on the road only since last September,,not even a year old,,new she was over $40,000,,,I'm getting it with only 2000 km's on it for $27,800 plus tax,,,pick it up today or tomorrow,,just waiting on the call :bigjoint:

Give it to me I'll fix it only reason it's expensive is cause mechanics are Jews. :bigjoint:
she has seen her time,,,worked her ass off,,,and my mechanic is also a good friend who has done many freebies for me and wouldn,t (pardon the pun),,steer me wrong,,I also have a new trailer to pull around for work and would have to set up the old girl with a tow package,,at 318,000 km's,,and she needs a new set of racks before I lose all my ladders,,,so instead of invest in the old I'm investing in the new,,

I'm driving a 14 year old wagon on dedicated lpg with 350,000 km's on it and its still running very well with no major issues. getting a V8 manual sedan towards the end of the year though.
this is a half ton van with a V-6 that I have used as a one ton many many times,,,actually surprised it lasted this long in the roofing world

I got my wagon off a guy who owned it a year, the previous owner was a small business who had it serviced every 6 months without fail. Think it had an easy life before I got my hands on it :)
