reality tv is terrible only reality to it is the people on all of them are in it for the money and that is it.
and for beech gotta love living in the sticks my favorite move is the twirly piss in the middle of the road and no one will ever see it unless it the random 5 cars a day that go by my house. and if its one of them most likely they know me and would wave and laugh. unlike calling the cops and having me arrested.

Trying to really get the feel for the look of "ripe" bud ya know?! So I'm hawking daily lol prob on my way to going blind haha but GOOD nevertheless!

worm bins are easy to make..just look up red worm composting on google and should bring you to some nice sites...i hate to send you searching but its probablly best rather than give ill informed advice..
i can say this.
you need at least 2 containers that are light proof.
worms
some plain carboard or black and white newspaper
and kitchen scraps
a spigot
and a drill
holes in the top bin, spigot in the bottom, set them on top of each other (bottom bin is for drainage so make sure top bin can drain into it)
put your moistened carboard or newspaper in (i use a 5 gal bucket of water and let soak overnight, then ring out the soaked material) and add your worms.....cuck the kitchen scraps in there daitly and in no time you will have your own fresh worm castings..
i can say this.

those guys on the vermicompost site are really knowledgable and you should sub up to it, its a active thread and lots of good people there, they will for sure get you going in the right direction.

this is where i ordered worms from uncle jims.
i watched a video on his site then went to youtube and watched a bunch of video's on the subject.
i have plastic bins about 18x12x6 in deep with the sides cut off so they would line up now its 18x24.
nothing special put a mix of leaves/mulch/bit of dirt then put my organic vegetable matter on it whenever most is gone.
not hard to take care of at all. i have 4 8 inch pvc in my garden about 10 inches deep that i dumped 1000 red worms down and every week to 2 weeks i throw a couple lbs of scraps in there then get lots of worm poop and good aeration for all my vegetable's

I'm trying to break everything down to as small as scale as possible tho, and from what I've seen and read so far, you guys are putting me on to systems to produce WEIGHT hahah! My ideal situation would be one where I wouldn't ever have an excess of casting ya know?
From what I've seen guys are getting their weight in worms in NO TIME

not really man, dosent matter how big the bin is you can just go in and harvest what you want when you want....i dont harvest my castings, i just peel back the bedding and scoop out what i want worms and all, ammend my soil with it and without fail almost every plant i haverst or transplant has like 4-5 worms right in the container.
its not like your going to have castings overflowing.
2 10 gal totes will make a nice small bin, from what i have read a 3 tote system is much better.... like i said check out that vermicomposting site the guy gives a good description of how to make a bin, you can choose any size you want really.

the thing is just make sure you know what kind of worms you have red wrigglers live in the top of the soil so no point in having it deep.
i go with no paper product for the fact it is all processed and not really the best for the worms.
after 2-4 months i move the worms and bedding to one side of the bin then quit feeding that side and put fresh bedding and food on the other side within a few days almost all worms move and then i harvest the castings and broken down material.

I'm thinking of grabbing some Geopots @ 3lbs when I do this same soil mix and grow (1wk 18/6 to 12/12)
I tried real hard to find red worm around here by digging- no luck. Found a red worm farmer but he's mad far. 4 bucks fo 25 worms though. Sheittt.
Also how much weight do you yeild off of some of these treez ? An average - just curious.

Holy chit tht be alot of worms in my case!!Was reading on composting and says Coffee grounds are neutral well 6.9,So im dumping mine now tht i have me a good compost pile.My buddys got one there Family has been using for over 25yrs were gonna test it soon will..
