5.8 is more for hydro. 5.8 is likely causing lockout and stunting your plant. i'm in a cocoa based soiless mix right now and i keep my ph between 6.5 and 7 and have yet to see any stunted growth or deficiencies. check my grow if you'd like

*EDIT*
if you check my grow disregard the kalashnikova. that P.O.S. has bad genetics. people has been complaining about that strain not performing and i think i got one of the ones

yea il check ur grow out man, got a 26w cfl to stick the cotton candy under untill she gets a little bigger then move her to the hps

ok so done abit of reading on my coco and a few people say they have nothing but problems with it sayin the plants took longer to grow with it etc so that might b 1 of the reasons i dont no really but for my next grow going to get bio bizz all mix and hope thats better :D

well woke up to find that the cotton candy was dead :( dont know what happened but i looked at her roots and they where tiny barley any and only going a few inch down if that, still waiting on my [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]dolomite lime to come atleast when that gets here it might help the ill cm, the other cm is doing great![/FONT]

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that bro. Wonder what that's about? Hopefully the lime comes soon. Glad one plant is doing well though! Not all is lost.

i have no clue i mean my 2 sweet big devil are growing perfect 1critical mass is going great and 1 isnt do so well but still good so i really have a no clue ive started to germ another cotton candy seed as really wana smoke some of that cotton candy when its done sounds sooo good lol

Not sure if that's the same for coco if not. Not sure how much to use to top dress and water it in either....lol....sorry, I'm no help

says a few tables spoons ontop of soil or a few inchs deep and then just keep watering dont no if this is true or not tho :S

Sounds about right to me dude. My ladies were doing fantastic when I checked this AM!! Thanks for asking :). Gonna try to wait a few days before putting up new pics. I've been posting pics up nearly everyday. Makes it hard for you guys to see much growth. Again, I said I was gonna TRY! I just love showing off my girls....We'll see how it goes :)

im going to wait till she needs to be watered then atleast the lime will sink in a little and yea im going to do some pics 2moz but i dont blame u your girls are looking nice :D
