I would love to have it up but it interferes with the light. Originally was gonna hang on the left wall. Should have made the cabinet 6" wider.yea one thing i just noticed ur filters on ground level?
is it to heavy to hang in your area or?
Someone else was asking about this also. I am gonna look inside again and see if there is a way I can rig it up.hmm to bad yea ideally have it as high as possible as heat rises and cool air inc co2 sits near the bottom tho your temps are fine atm it would also give you move floorspace so mayb nxt time u build a cab lol
Hey thanks a lot. It has been a pricey investment so far, but I have been saving and planning for a little while so it was not too big of a hit to the finances. Just had to have a little patience till my time to grow! I have the lights at 21" above. I recently moved them to that height after talking to the manufacturer and they recommended a height of 18-24" above. They also recommended that I turn the blue spectrum to 100% and the red to about 75% power. Thanks for your interest in my grow any input will be appreciated.Firstly congratulations on the investment, altho it must have been a few quid I think its a sensible solution and I wish they were more affordable for some small area growers. They should not increase that volume of space more than a couple of degrees. that is the very point of advantage with LED. I notice that you are moving them about a bit and wonder is this is just environment generally as oppose to the lighting, i.e is it warmer in other parts of the space when it is warmer closest to the light. I suspect you will have plenty of air movement so they should be okay around that 80 degrees, even a little higher so don't be too finicky and exact every single day.
Count me in, if you'll have me
thanks for that link! So that's what cc is I've seen it referenced here before. Will defininitly use that as a resource thanks!Ask ed info on lighting 24/0 vs. 18/6 during veg http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/articles/2291.html
I have been thinking of a solution to get my filter off the ground. The fan filter combo is pretty big for my space but I think that if I switch the carbon filter to an elf carbon filter I may have enough space to make it work. I did a search and found an elf filter for 45 bucks. Seems like a food deal to me. I think it would be beneficial for me to get the filter up and out of the way. Anyone use an elf filter before?yea one thing i just noticed ur filters on ground level?

Hmm. The only prob I see with me moving the fan outside the cabinet is vibration. I may be able to work something out. Gonna check it out when I get home from work. I want to find a solution because it makes more since to have it up off the ground for a couple of reasons. One more space for mor medicine, and also the heat and co2 aspect. Just not sure how much modifying on want to do on the cabinet now that I have it up and running. Right now I have it in a closet where there are two big sliding mirror doors hiding it. They can be a hassle to remove and put back.ive never heard of that brand before so im not sure but is it not possible to simply change ur setup from
filter>fan>duct to filter>short duct>fan>duct
this way you can position the fan outside/ontop of your grow box halving the weight problem?
Lol how's that working for ya? Prob alright if you still have it that way. Well you really got me thinking and I will figure a way to move that filter up. It is the best way to go and moving the fan outside the cabinet is gonna be the way to do it. Thanks for the ideas.lol my fans wrapped up in a sleeping bag
Actually I could do that. I may just mount my fan on the top of the cabinet and see how that looks sounds and feels. If not too much vibration that's how it will be done. I may look at hanging it inside the closet where I have the cabinet. Either way will work killer and free up some valuable space to produce some more medicine. Also for co2 purposes as well! Thanks can't wait to get home and check on them and also start planning my new modification. May be a couple days before I can actually do the mod but tomorrow is my Friday so it'll be done before I go back to work Tuesday.no vibrations but or realy any noise iv gt the acousic ducting n that which helpd some aswel.
ive seen some people with tents mounting it right over the outlet on the top of the tent idno if thats a practical place in your situation tho but just look around and see what other ppl bin doing and that should give u some ideas
