My 1st Real grow 250MH and HPS

are you letting the pots fully dry out before flushing again ?

I don't think it was completely dry, why is that a bad thing?

Here are some pics of the Meds. at 47 days of 12/12. The damaged one is hanging in there. The healthy girl is passing her sister by in terms of bud size, although the other has a real nice smell and looks different. They both smell super. The remaining pics are my outdoor bagseed. The plant in the double bucket was drowned Mon. and will be harvested tomorrow with the other two. A sample of the plant with the large single cola really tasted NICE on a 4 day dry. I am stoked for this to get me through to the really good stuff. Comments welcome as always.

The 3 outside are getting chopped tomorrow morning @ 7am. The indoor in @ 2-3 weeks. Very happy!

Wow. Finally time to chop the outdoor "crop". I am pretty sure it is gonna be some good stuff. All three plants are different. The larege yielder has buds the size of coke cans. Very spicy aroma. The two smaller are more fruity smelling. I should have put something in the pics for reference. The scissors in one of the pics is a big pair. Enjoy.

hello fellow toker, got some ?s. one plant under on 13 wtt cfl for a month (he didnt have money to get the approriate lighting at the time) just switched to 250 wtt hps, four 2700k cfl's, one black and one blue party cfl bulbs. (1) is this enough light or it needs more? i told him the more light the better. just recently switched from regular potting soil to FFOF. (2) being the plant has been alive almost 2months but has only grown 5 inches with a few leaves around it, is it ok to add nutes to accelerate growth? if so what procedure must be followed and also cost friendly. he told me about a vid he saw about DIY co2. (3) is this ok for plants...co2 that is? if so how can it be done? ph tester from lowes for 10 dollars. metter seems to go below 7 by one line. (4) how accurate are these particular types? ( im not sure of the name cus he never told me the exact name, he only told me how much it cost) online lowes.com search for ph tester. its 10 dollars. he canot afford reflective material (ie mylar) (5) what is a more cost friendly material that will at least do the job?. Heard with ffof ph should be perfect for plants for up to thirty days. (6) when the thirty days are up..what will be the very next thing to do step by step. he also told me he noticed the leaves curling down. (7) Is there anything that can be done to help the plants leaves get better? i have included pics. any advice will be greatly appreciated and kudos will be giving when due.

Hi there mr. stoner. You have plenty of light for just one plant. The 250 W should be from 10-12 inches above plant and cfls should be 2-6 inches away. I think it should grow much faster now. If you just switched to FFOF, give her a couple weeks or so before giving nutes. What are u using? Ph should be between 6-6.5, sounds like you are good. I do not use CO2, but it is good for the plants. Not sure how much,etc. Looks like a N def., but not positive. How long ago did you switch to FFOF?

thanks for the swift response maniacal420 ....i understand he just swithed to ffof like 2days ago....he was on the 20/4 time schedule nd just reduced it to 18/6..he also wanted to know...he got the hydro farm 250 watt conv ballast (hps nd mh ballast). can the cfl's sit under the hps system with out damaging the system or hps bulb?? i have included a pic he sent me...exactly how its set up...

The light looks a little close. You don't really need the cfls, by the look of it. You may want to start your own grow journal and ask there. That's what I am doing. Good luck.

I am so pleased with the aroma coming from this harvest. Very strong. It is definitely the best smell ever for me. It is only my 2nd ever grow and the 1st was totally premature. These could have gone a little longer, but was in the right range. I think this is gonna be some good smoke.

So far there has been no grassy smell at all from this harvest. Right now I am awash in a pungent, spicy aroma. What I have smoked tasted great and will only get better. In and out of jars now for a few days more. The plant that I drowned before harvest is def. the best smelling of the three. I ended up with 1oz. each off 2 plants and 2oz. off the third, dry, for a total of 4ozs. Smoke is uplifting, cerebral, sativa high from what I can tell. Trichs are mostly clear.
