I was wondering do I flower for 45 days or 55 days? Ive been doing alot of research and these 2 #'s pop up the most.

I vegged them for 60 days. I am currently in week 5 of flowering

A plant is done flowering when its done flowering no set days.

Just check the trichomes and pick at ur liking.

Different strains, different times. I don't know shiva skunk off hand. sensiseeds shows your 45-55 days. It;s a matter of when it matures and that varies by temps, feed, light... Having had my first harvest not long ago the best advice I got was "wait until it gets shaggy looking". It'll make sense when you see it... I also of course use the trichome changes as well, they turn milky white. When between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pistils turn red/brown is also a good indicater. theres always a span. Some people even harvest the upper portion before the lower to allow the lower to mature more. Post pics when you're close and folk will be most helpful...

yup, i have one 240v Lumatek ballast attached to one 1000w bulb.
I almost went 2x 600 watt bulbs, but I was CONVINCED that I need to run just ONE 1000w High Pressure Sodium.
So far, i have been VERY pleased

Dude, I honestly do not know. I have a Lumatek digital ballast, so I dont know if that makes a difference. Im just learnin about this electricity thing
