My 1st Trip to "White Castle" aka 1st Grow

dont feel bad bro.... im another White Castle grower who had to deal with a fast food job! but hey! are you only growing white castle? my wc plant has alot different leaves and structure from yours... mine has a sweet/pine smell to it its about 8-9 weeks old, still in veg and about to be flowered. what impresses me the most about the strain is the pleasant smell, and the fairly tight internode spacing. its a very predictable plant. its next to a couple sour kush clones and they're less predictable and strech a bit more. mine are also under cfl's along with a couple 4ft tubes. small enough plant for a closet grow for sure!
i cant wait to see your plants flower! i bet it'll be great! way to go!

Bad News!!! Just back from vacation and my plants got baked!!! I believe 3 of the 4 plants are gonna do just fine. I watered them last night and this morning when I checked on them, they looked much better.

My clones are doing excellent, I will transplant them asap. The roots are starting to go through the bottom of the jiffy pots.

So here is more info. One the one that looks like a complete lost, There is still plenty of green in the stem and branches. There is no leaves on it as of know. I trimmed them off, they were baked!!! Good news is that there is plenty of node sites on the plant still. So basically I think as long as I give it some extra TLC, I believe she will over come her near death experience.

The other 3 plants look alot better now compared to last night. I have no idea why one of my plants from last night were barely affected. The soil was still pretty damp compared to the other 3, they were dry as the savanah. I'll post some pics so you can see the damage. I still have "High" hopes.....giggity!!!

Well I officially gave up on 1 of the plants. All the other girls are coming out great and the clones are doing wonderful

i also got white castle strain from nirvana for my first grow, i just read through your journal and i enjoyd it alot so far...
i have mine indoors in a drip hydro setup, their only just a few days old right now..
ive been taking pictures so maybe ill start a journal and we can compare our white castle results..

HEY EVERYBODY!!!! I'm not dead lol. Just had to move into my parents place again. Live in the boondocks and we have no internet. Im using my works internet lol.

I have finally put my babies into the flowering stage. This is day 5, i believe. I have ALOT of budsites starting to form. It is looking beautiful. So I cant post any pics right now but I cant find my camera. I hate moving LOL.

I'm growing under my parents house, Its not even a basement. Crazy story, This house is really old and way, way, way back in the day slaves use to live down in this room. Its all dirt and concrete blocks. Its almost 100 degrees outside everyday and the temp in this room doesnt go above 75. I didnt have alot of time to prep this room like I did my old grow room but I'm doing the best I can with what I have. I have some great ideas for this room. Just need to get a few days off from work. In the last 2 months I have only had 4 days off. Crazy Over Time!!! I dunno when the next time ill be able to bring my laptop to work and use my stores internet to keep you guys updated. I really wanna show you guys how beautiful my plants are turning out.

Dude its crazy but I gotta bring my Laptop to work on the nights I'm here till 2am. I disconnect the credit card machine we use and plug the ethernet cable to my laptop. Ive put my babies through alot of stress from going on a 11 day vacation and to moving back into my parents house. Its taken a toll on my babies but there doing just fine.

I have only feed my plants nutes a few times in its life. But I do believe that once the soil drys and its time for watering. I will feed it some FF: Grow Big. I wish I had FF:Big Bloom.....or whatever but FF: GB still has Phosphorus in it and a little bit is better than none. There is only one plant that looks like it needs nutes. The others look fine

I dont know if I have a problem or not but I feel like it takes forever for my soil to completely dry. I use to be able to water them every 4 or 5 days during the vegetative stage but since they started flowering its seems like my soil is holding the water better. The top of the soil seems to be perfect. But when I dig down a little bit the middle has some moisture to it. Its not water logged or anything but its not drying. I should say its slowly drying... Its a cool 75-80 degrees in my room. So I wouldn't think temp would be a issue and I read that a plant uses more water during the flowering stage due to the respiration or something.

No help...... oh well

i guess you should have added perlite when you started.... you got unlucky

My plants look like shit but the buds are loking excellent.
