Thank you growsolo :)

I am having trouble finding work at the moment, so it is nice to be able to go outside and care for them for a few hours each day. It helps to get my mind off depressing facts like how I attended college, earned three degrees in science, and am now unemployed..in an area that actually claims to be biotech oriented?

I am off to bust out my ladder, to see if I can get a look at that cola (and maybe some photos without breaking my neck?)!
I can't believe I can only see the bottom branches of that plant.
Thanks for the video, Blueberry Skunk.... I wish all my seeds (or at least the blueberry) didn't come out female (wow, did I just say that?), I would have loved to get a cross from each pheno of skunk I have going.

Is sending pollen of the male cannabis plant through the mail illegal?

Edit: I have some pollen passed down to me from the 70s/80s. I wonder if it is still good?

you could try the pollen, but don't be hopeful
pollen doesn't last long, now seeds can last a long time
and yeah, the economy sucks, this area of NY is supposed to be in better shape than other parts of the country
but better doesn't mean good

Well, I made it! However, I was not able to see the top of the cola on big Bertha. I was too chicken to step on the "no step" area of my 6ft step ladder. I guess I have to dig out the 10 foot step ladder!
And, well, that dream I had didn't come true...my plants did not ripen over night. I guess I will have to wait those two weeks plus AFTER ALL... Ahhhh. *sigh*
The good news: THE SUN IS OUT!
More pics to come.

She is getting big. A very lanky, sparse Sativa look. Her sisters are much more squat.
I believe this sparse pheno helped keep the leaf spot off of her by keeping airflow at a maximum. Her sisters (who had great resistance themselves) are now showing a lot of spots. Spots showed up on the shady side of the plants that don't dry as fast in the morning.
Look at the neighboring plant:

The disease hasn't affected the buds yet, but secondary leaves are showing a few spots. I suspect the buds could be next.

Not like the stems you see over in Cali... But for a plant sprouted late in NY.. Not bad.

Those bottom fan leaves just recently yellowed and fell. I take pride in the fact that all of my lower fan leaves survive until mid flowering.

This is for all you bug people out there. Help me out.
I have noticed that some of the bugs living on my plants (yeah, yeah.. I know) are carrying these tiny red things. Does anyone know what the hell this is?
Daddy long legs with red things:

Saw this on my way to check on my girls this morning. Stopped on the way to look at a wasp nest that I saw the other day, and look what was stalking out the wasps!
I have never had the pleasure to see a snake like this in my area.
