Wow, great haul. I had no idea you could pull in that kind of weight from a few autos sitting in the window
(Obviously a bit reductive, as you put in a ton of effort to get these results)
How do you process the trim into oil? Solvent extraction?
thanks....this is my cheap & easy oil making method
1 - grind "bone dry" leaves into a powder
2 - soak the leaves in a mason jar with
99% Isopropyl Alcohol for at least 3 days......ensure all leaves are fully saturated
3 - cut the bottom off a 2L pop bottle c/w a twist-on cap (from some other vesel)
4 - using a coffee filter, cut out several circles (the size of a quarter) to fill the neck of the twist-on cap
5 - ram a napkin on above the twist-on cap to further restrict the flow
6 - open the twist-on cap as little as possible (less the better)
7 - pour the green isopropyl alcohol solution into the pop bottle, cover with plastic to prevent evaporation
8 - invert over a clean mason jar and allow to slowly drip for as long as required (a day or two)
9 - once the majority of the liquid has passed, throw away the wet grinds
10 - cook down the solution in an electric frying pan....do this
outside when there is a bit of a wind as the smell is toxic & very flammable
11 - only cook down until it's a thin solution (slightly thinner than you would want to smoke)
12 - allow the mixture to sit until it becomes the proper texture/thickness (apply short hits of heat if required)
13 - remove as much oil as possible from the electric frying pan and place contents into a container
14 - grind up a bit of MJ and mix into pan to clean out any leftover oil remains
cheers
