My 250/400w grow converted armoire(many pictures)

Since I pretty much finished my stealth armoire(well kinda stealthy) I wanted to show it off and ask a few questions. My plants are already started in it at 3 days old.

I have a swappable ballast so now I'm running the 250w HPS 18/6. Temps are 77-88F about. Humidity is good. I might use 400w for flower if its cool enough during night hours since it's only 12/12.

I have a 4inch vortex in there with the Presh carbon filter and fan controlller. I used a td-125 and td-100x duct fans to vent the cooltube. It would have been better to just use 1 inline for that too, but i already had the duct fans laying around.

I'm using Roots organic to veg in and in a few weeks I will transplant into a 3 gallon pot of subcools supersoil(bottom layer) and roots organics(top layer). The plant on the right is Barneys Farm Tangerine Dream(S) and BF Blue Cheese(I) on left.

I didn't put up panda film yet, and still need to light seal it, so it's not quite finished.

My questions are:

Should there be more leaves growing on the Sativa by now, seems to be stretching alot, and I've just read this strain is a nightmare to grow? Is this true?

Also if my light on temps are always 85-88 am I going to get fluffy buds no matter what?

Should I put screens or filters on my passive intakes? Or is that overkill?

Is there anything you pros notice I might be overlooking? It's my first grow so I don't wanna waste any time. Thanks alot!

You want to find a way to lower temps for sure. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend filtering the intake at all, or putting a 400 in there if the 250 is getting to 85+ degrees. Do you have leaks sealed, so there is negative pressure?

I haven't sealed the light leaks yet but it should be ok since I'm in early veg. That doesn't effect temps right? A small screen shouldn't affect the intake should it? I'm not dying to put one, but when they flower I want to. i will have negative pressure once I seal it tight.

I just had this prob with my 400w cab.. temps were damn near 90 the first 2 weeks of flr. I added a pc fan as intake and increased the cool air flow around the cab.. dropped 10 degrees and holdin strong @ 78.. hope this helps

Thanks anything helps, I decided to just get a portable ac because my room only has 1 window and there's no way around it, I'll need an AC this summer.

i am currently converting an armoire. actually stopped for a bowl and read through forums. Nice to see someone doing something similar. what are you doing for intake fans? in the second picture what is the 90 at the bottom of the armoire? I as well need to just suck it up and get a portable a/c. Good luck man!

No intake fan necessary, those are passive intakes. I just used two 90 degree angle pipes taped together to make a shape no light will pass
