My 3rd Grow, 3 Plants

Some details of the grow:
Fox Farm Soil
4 Gallon Square Pots
26w CFL (2700K)x11
40w CFL (2700K)x2
PC fans for cooling. Temp stays between (72-83)
General Hydroponics Fertilizer
Ona Block (to eliminate odor completely)

So I started out with 5 plants in my undersized grow closet, I was lucky enough to get 3/5 females! This is day 50 from seed. Veg'd for 35 days using 26w CFL (6500k)x10. Pistils were visible within 9 days of introducing 12/12. I have 3 clones that are looking healthy, but not much growth out of them yet.

Hey Midwest 1228 looking really good.... What strain are you growing? What size is your grow area? I too grow in a closet w/CFLs.... Looks like you have a great handle on it, I'm sub'd to see what comes of your grow, good luck :eyesmoke:

Thanks, its bagseed from some dank, I got 5 seeds from a quarter. Closet gives me about 2'x3', plenty of room vertically. So far I love cfl's, great vegetative growth. Nodes are tightly packed together. I cannot wait to taste these whores, I'm going with a 100 day grow. 35 days veg, 65 days flowering. June 17th is D-day (dank day)...of course, I'm going to have to wait for dry/cure.

Yeah, I'm in my 3rd grow, actually my 3rd grow is my 1st re-grow... I re-vegged the plants after harvest on the 2nd grow. Strain is Landrace Colombian Gold and Blue Widow, they took off like crazy during the re-veg, so I flowered them out for a second time...

I have been using CFLs since my 1st grow a year ago... My next grow w/several different strains will start in a month or so... good luck

Good looking plants Midwest, I love seeing grows like this with CFL lights. I am on my first grow and am using CFLs also and love it, easy to work with and still produces good plants! Count me subbed in to see how these girls play out. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Fader and Lostreef, I appreciate the compliments. Fader, I have not heard of someone revegging a plant after a harvest, I didnt even know the plants can do that. How long of a reveg time and is there a certain way you trim the buds? anyways I wish you guys a plentiful harvest! I'll get some more pic updates this week. On another note, do either of you guys have a easy/efficient way of using the cuttings from plants to make hash or butter? I've read lots of stuff online and I can do it, but I'm looking for a way without buying a silk screen or cheese cloth, bubble bags etc.

Can't help you out with the hash thing, am actually looking around for some good methods myself so I can make some once I harvest too. Haven't found anything that has stuck in my head too much yet, but have found a lot of different things when searching around RIU.

Hey Midwest, I researched that after a harvested plant if some foliage remains, it is possible to re-generate or re-veg a plant for another grow cycle. I grow aero-hydro so the roots are already in place, so basically I just switched back to vegetation stage the day I harvested..... Working great, my gals are in day 43 of flowering now... click below in my signature to see my grow journals

Cannabutter is easy to make, so is hash oil and bubblehash... plenty of info on RIU... I've done the cannabutter and oil, both w/kick-ass results, catch ya later bro, good luck! :eyesmoke:

Upgraded my grow closet in the last couple days. I bought ply wood, cut it to the size of my closet, cut holes for sockets and wrapped it in reflectix. It's suspended by chains and hooks. It has made a huge difference in lighting.
Plants are 57 days old.

So I got some bad news and good news I guess. I've had a light leek in my closet that I didn't realize, all 3 of my plants have gone hermie. Each plant has maybe 3-10 male flowers (bananas) on each plant. So thats the bad news. From what I've researched, females that become hermie due to stress, not genetics, will produce feminized seeds. For me this is cool because I am out of seeds and don't want to order any or wait for a bag of dank to maybe have some. So hopefully I get a good amount of bud and a few seeds....hopefully.

Some more updates: I can see plenty of seeds forming, they seem to be staying on the lower branches for now. Plants are 66 days old from seed today. 31 days into 12/12 today.
