My 4 plant OR rec grow done proper, with a story

I moved to Oregon about a year and a half ago, chasing my dream 1800mi to grow medical and learn how to blow glass. After a fight at work back home and not being able to get a job as a felon and ex con, I eventually lost everything, I packed 2 bags because that's all that was left and took a bus to Portland. Homeless.

I reached out to everyone I met and knew and eventually got a job living at a grow. I had grown one cycle of indoor prior but that's it. I spent years reading online and everything I could get my hands on. I spent a few months there full on handling about 70+ plants on my own and learning to extract. That particular grower was sort of a pickle jar of Adderall and oxycotin and was a tad more than I could deal with and not lone my cool.

I bought a machine, and moved into another garden, my hard work got me alot of attention, but this grower was a real pro. My style of growing reflects his , we run our indoors similar to each other as well but each still hold a unique methods to each of us, i couldnt wait to get going with a place of my own.

It took awhile, but after building my own CLS, I eventually got myself and girlfriend into a brand new home. Too close to a school for medical but our 4 rec plants, no problem. I wasn't worried about the number, yes I wanted to go bigger, I felt confident. But I also had a different shop at the time with a lab for extracting, my everything was into that, I immediately developed a name, a good rep, and growers that wait until they can go through me. My first year I ran a couple hundred pounds on 2 machines I personally built and I wasn't even getting started, I was just establishing connections for this year.

Extracting has become something that's over taken alot of my life, with paper work in hand and funds being finalized, I'm going recreational with my own lab next year. The grower that taught me has become one of my best and only pals out here. He just finished and is now running his tier3 33000sqft rec grow. Once i get my lab going I'll have over a ton of material each year just from him alone. And he's not the only rec grower in the area that I've taliked with.

Yes, I'm all about my extractiond,n everything from hydrocarbon to fractional distillation. But my true passion is still in the garden. I only dab here and there, I personally love my flowers, I love the therapy of the greenhouse and working with the plants. It gets stressful dealing with high pressures, volatile solvents, and constant competition combined with ridiculous deadlines. My hearts into my machines and lab, but my passions in the garden. Next year were going all out, trying to find a farm house for my family and I, we got have a boy being born in February.

I came here with nothing, leaving a dreaded past in the bible belt on a journey. From homeless to this. Right before I came out here a buddy of told me "nothing bad comes from hard work" and I've lived by that and preached it to others. He also told me don't become a Dutch Bros douchebag. I happen to like them from time to time, I'll admit it. I run 100% organic, we mix our own nutrients and make teas combined with built soil. This feeding regiment was designed for my buddy, I got to meet the botanist and learn all about it as well and I periodically go talk with him.

Anyways. Here's what I did with my 4 plant limit (the indoor never got shut off lol, now with 10 plant perpetual, 10 chopped every 8 weeks but no one knows about that setup) I built a 10x30 greenhouse, used 100gal pots. And put small teens out June 1st. My total investment including everything from construction materials, dirt, fans, nutes, everythingredients. My entire outdoor season was under 1k. I pulled just under 10lbs of some the darkest outdoor ive seen this year. It literally gets mistaken for indoor from time to time. Deathstar, Lemon Sour Diesel, Obama Kash, Acopocol Gold. Pics are all over the place I'm sure, sorry.
