I got some some Sour Grapes going as well and the story I got was that it was made by a breeder that goes by the name KeyPlay out of Oakland and that the original name he gave the strain was Grape Stomper...
The genetics of Sour Grapes/Grape Stomper are: Chemdog x Sour Diesel male from Elite Genetics and the mother was a clone of a strain called Purple Elephant made by a breeder named Jojorizos... Purple Elephant is said to be Purple Urkle X Hashplant. I'll be watchin the grow!

This strain is mainly seen around the Bay Area but that's about it... even here, not very many people have it.
