I think it's the far red after lights out. So ya... probably gonna switch some of those fr's to red and blues.

Why not just use the 3590's as is? Why is every one talking about all these reds and blues?
Well, I personally put a lot of time and effort into creating the custom attachments for my diy light and i wanna continue to put it to use. So I'd just replace 8 of 12 leds stars with 4 blues and 4 deep reds. I'm not seeing shorter flower times necessarily with the current 12 far reds anyways.

So back to your original question. There is written documentation that states some fox tailing is due to hot spots. Id suspect that that is your case. But ill look back at the picture to see if the fox tailing is condensed to one area or not. Are your out side plants fox tailing?

No. I knew the bleaching and foxtailing was from the go green in the middle. That sucks. I dont know how to utilize my gogreen with the diy. I had a feeling that there was too much ppf in the center. I just would hate to not use the gogreen when I own one. I feel like I'd be missing out. But maybe it's time I just stuck to the 8 cob diy light. At 1750mA (64watts) i've got more than enough ppfd for a 4x4.

So your diy 8 cob is 512 watts? Maybe finish this run with the go green and try the next under only 8 cob fixture.

The only thing I can think of is to maybe flip it upside down and use it underneath the screen at the littler larf. Or when I do my next run, just use it at the very top of the tent from beginning to the end as just a way to get extra light. Having it the same height as the diy has caused leaf burn, drying out, and now, foxtailing. I knew it was because my ph and ppms were perfect and lower growth, amd outer rim growth is all gravy.

I do have a question though.
My babies are drinking like a gallon a day or more of the water. But my ppms at fresh res change were 650-670. Now they've drank a good 6-8 gallons and the water lvl is definitely visibly lower, BUT the PPMs are 720-740 now. Are they not using nutes? Or are the nutes just becoming more concentrated as the roots uptake water?

On contrast, my pops tomatoes drink like 2 gallons a day and his PPMs go from like 1,000 to 800-850 EVERY DAY. :/ So I'm lost here. ..

So I emailed GoGreenLEDs about this hot spot issue and get a reply that they have no other lenses available. But that I could simply take the lenses off and that would lessen the hot spots. So I wake up today, determined to do this before the lights turn on.
Wouldn't you know it, the fuckers are SILICONED onto the heat sinks and the drivers strap has come loose allowing them to flop all over. Really wish I was told what it entailed. He simply said I could "take them off". Not cut through silicone and then spend a ton of time removing excess and never being able to use them again in the future. 20160608_065654.jpg 20160608_065701.jpg 20160608_065719.jpg So I just put it back together and emailed him my frustration. I'm fuckin pissed. What a WASTE OF time.

Just snapped these seconds before lights went out and far reds came on.
Currant Kush is taco-ing up sooo nicely. As for the rest, white berry is looking wonderful (runt) and the rest of the Lemon kush nugs are so huge. Foxtailing happened from the gogreen as I stated but I've moved it to above the currant and runt and removed the ge BrightStiks hood. My lemon kush nugs must be nearly 10" long. It's ridiculous.
This is at 6 weeks,2 days from flip.20160610_205313.jpg 20160610_205330.jpg 20160610_205508.jpg 20160610_205453.jpg 20160610_205320.jpg 20160610_205346.jpg

Can anyone answer this for me?

nute ec could be lowered some ,then when the res is low it should be reading more like the # you started with.most times if plants are drinking fast in hydro the ec will be much higher when your res starts to get empty.just lower your ppm by 100 at the next res change and see how they like it.they do look a bit over fed from the last set of pics.i seen guys run under currents with 300ppm max and the plants looked fuckin awesome.i know your not using a uc but i think i read you have a pump moving water from bucket to bucket so its similar.

Hows your temps/humidity at the moment? Theres some tacoing going on in a few of the pics. Might explain the water uptake with no nute uptake. They dont need nutes to "sweat".

Welp that's what I did. Gonna give it a good hour to mix throughout the rest and check the ppms. They're nearly 7 weeks anyways though so I'm not too worried about it. I was gonna do one more feeding of bloom nutes at a low ppm and then straight ro the last week anyways.
