sorry been away. the sprayers didnt need any thing to seal. but they clog alot. i used sewing needles to make holes when heated. they worked good but clogged as well. so then i used little tiny nails that are a little bigger than needles and they work good. suppose a pump sock could help this too. basically as long as jets of water spray the lid then the water will drip down all the roots. i made a "shower curtain" that i glued b&w poly around the lid so i dont have to worry with trying to seal. that would be futile. so the water sprays like crazy in the tub but hits the plastic and drips down away from the seam of the lid and body. hope this helps dude. im in a rush. the pump is like 600 gph but i suspect that you could go alot lower. they say you want to atomize the water but that is bullshit because no matter how hard you pump it the sprayers have the same limit. i say fuck the sprayers just poke holes. mine has 40 sites=4rows=10 cups each. so inside there is 2 pvs rows so that one pvc covers 2 rows. poke holes at an angle on each side of pvc and you will spray the cups and lid. it will be perfect. what doesnt hit the roots will drip down them, better then dwc i bet.
