i got a 150watt sunsystem and a 400 watt cfl

when you say 400w cfl did you mean to say youve got a 400w sunsystem and a 150w cfl or are you maybe going by the incandesent equivelent watts and really youve got a 105 actual watt cfl and a 150w sunsystem?

well i have a 150watt hps sunsystem and a 300 watt cfl my bad i thought it was a 400 but yeah i use both together

thats a 65w cfl

that still seems really small for a 300w cfl, does it require a ballast to run it?

naw i got it a home depot its pretty big the two together work really well. i focus more on the hps it works pretty damn well if you replace the light every grow. i only use the cfl to get those lower areas

on is power plant the other 4 are a kush hybrid my buddy made

it cant be 300 actual watts then. 300w cfl's are not self ballasted. they require an external ballast.

sorry man you where right its a 68 watt cfl with a 300 watt equivalent it puts out like 4200 lums. still works pretty well cuz you can still keep it real close to the plants

that not bad, it will help growth for sure. i have used big cfls in the past, but really imo for supplemental lighting your better off using smaller bulbs spread all around the plant.
