defnitly a newbie here.... this is my first plant, i got a clone from a good friend, and have been workin on her now for 55 days. she has great color to me, smells nice, no real problems to my knowledge, but i feel like it maybe a lil short? am i just worried cuz im a new grower?

im growing her indoors, under 4 1000 wat flourescents, and a 150 watt compact hanging floursecent. shes in a 5 gallon bucket of organic soil, and im using a 20-5-5 nute tea recie i picked up from a buddy also. temp stays around 90 degrees during the light and around 80 when dark. its at a 19 hour light cycle now. shes prolly around 14 inches tall, and my branches(10-12) all are developing beautifully in my opinion. i just feel at 55 days she should be taller?

i dont have the greatest of cameras, so please excuse the images? i hope someone can help! and i hope im worrying for nothing!

she may be looking a little hungry-do you have proper drainage in that 5 gallon bucket? what type of soil are you using and how often are you watering?

u may be better off watering at the most every other day if not longer in between. the root zone is continually wet and not getting enough 02. thats an awful large pot to be watering every day

thanx, i have been thinkin maybe watering every day was a lil much. i saw it as adding fresh nutrients daily, because the bucket drained so well? i've also been foliar feeding every few days?

stays relevant.
foliar feeding isn't really needed while you're delivering nutes to the roots... cut out the overwatering/overfeeding... drainage shouldn't been seen as a luxury, but a requirement. the root zone should be fed no more than every other day depending on drying conditions...

you may end up forming something on those roots that the plant wont like, which may or may not have already happened as would be indicated by the stunted growth for nearly 60 days.

you also need to get the temperatures lower, anything over 85F is going to impede your plants ability to thrive.

at 55 days under the lighting conditions you've mentioned, your plants could and should be much much larger, and bushier...

You gotta get those 2 things in check... 1) stop overwatering/overfeeding, and 2) get the temps down to 70-80F... after that, you should be just fine... we'll see.

she doesnt need them nor want nutes that much. experienced growers nute evry thrid watering. I guess you have been lucky so far and have a more tolerable strain. things will change fast once you go into flowering.
def back off the watering. the soil does need to dry out between waterings. and i would stop foliar feeding them with water or nutes-doesnt need it. over nutes with soggy soil=slowed growth fo sho

here she is at 65 days, ive put the lights on a solid 18 hours of light, and cut back from all the flourescents, to just the single compact flourescent suspended from the ceiling. it is raised about 12 inches from the plant. i have only been watering about every 3rd day now.

lookin better lol to be honest you do not have enough lighting to be growing a in a 5 gall bucket but its not a bad thing usaly use em for bigger girls that are getting HID light but your set is working which is more then most newbs can say also something for you for next grow MG mirical grow isnt very fluffy unless you get the perlite mixed crap its just so dense ever notice when you water the water sits then sinks inthat measn soil its way to dense those roots wanna breath liek my and you so here my sugestion get more lights if you can or go HID you will be happy with those and the plants will grow so much faster

get the lights closer and get a small fan , grind two egg shells for calcium to invigorate the stems.grinded to powder on ur blender n add to soil slowly about a spoom a week by puting holes into soil about two inches deep trow the powder shell in the holes the water and cover the holes in about a weeek u would see the diffferce . organic rocks and wont hurt ur ph if done once a week.

so y should i be putting in the egg shells? i bought a new fertilizer. 9-4-4. its alaska natural fertilizer. the guy at the store told me it was an organic fertilizer so i decided on it. i was tryin to upgrade to an HPS or MH bulb, but this is my first grrow and i wasnt anticipating my expenses to be so much? i guess that is my own fault! i will learn my mistakes now tho!

the grainage is fine! it always has been. i have holes on the bottom sides of the bucket, and also in the bottom of the bucket. ive been learning that i may be exeriencing root problems because of mositure. so i have only been watering maybe once a week now. my fertilizer calls for a application of every 14 days so if my soil drys before then should i just be watring with pure water and no nutes?

yes. or at most 1/4 strength. they r looking much better-droopiness is vanishing. home depot sells both mh and hps security lights 100w for around 50 or 60 and are very easy to wire.
