first off i wanna thank every1 on riu. all of your post have got my babies through hard times. thx
now down to buisness. i constructed a 2ft x 4ft x 7ft box in my shed with a shelf spliting it in half. i done this so tht i would have a veg box in the top half and a flower box in the bottom but plants got bigger than expected so now i flower in both. i am using cfls for the whole grow mainly because of power usage. i also have a clone box made from a book case which is about 1ft x 2ft x 4ft. For even lighting all of my boxes are wrapped with alum with the dull side out.
upper box
The top has 8 plants, 5 of which are clones and the other 3 were started from seed bout 2 months ago. i have 1 of the three in a vertical scrog and the other 2 i have been using the Lst method. i have 20 100w equivalent cfls spread out throughout this upper box. i also have a 4 in air intake fan pulling fresh air in from outside.
lower box
The lower box has 5 plants. 2 of which are coming up on 2 months in flower 2 tht are at 5 weeks and one tht is about 3 weeks in the flower box. i have 25 100w eq. cfls in this box 5 of which are under the canopy of the plants to strengthen bud on the lower smaller limbs which has made a significant difference in them.
clone box
This box has 7 plants in it. 2 that were started from seed and the rest are clones from a couple that are in the lower box now. i cant figure out for the life of me wat is going on wid the clones but watever it is it seems to be getting better. this box has 3 50w eq. cfls and 1 100w eq. cfl with a 4 in intake fan but this fan is pulling air in from the room instead of outside, i think it should b enough fresh air for these small cuttings
nutrients
For nutes i have been using monty's vegetable fert and for flowering i have been using this stuff i found at lowe's called superbloom it seem to b working great. i also use superthrive in all watering applied.
