Here's the cheese (grown from seed)

The biggest plant always looks hungriest

The new growth has funny colour until I add 10-20ml A B

More worried about burning the pistils on the OG

The PH had stayed in range after the initial adjustment to 5.8 2 days ago.

It stated on the Canna Aqua website that the PH would stay buffered.
These look good to me. Better then mine actually I'm getting over some cal def. But my pistols are developing. And yours appear to be as well. From what I see. I think we just have awesomely hungry plants!

The plants do look good in the pics. Just after the lights went out I then switched on a normal house light so that I could photo with flash on my iPhone. I know that the yellow light of the HPS makes it harder to see the colours so I'm going to get a pair of those blue lens glasses for the grow room. At times I've taken healthy green plants from my cfl veg into the room to compare colour. I think I also need to be more patient.

The same OG clone grown in an 11L pot.

According to the freebie info. And I've researched this strain as much as I could, and the general information I've received seems consistent.

Here's what it looks like it happening. Your plants are growing spectacularly, and pulling up all the iron out of the nutrient solution too fast. Adding more nutrients puts the iron back every time while increasing the level of the other nutrients.

NFT works by continual watering. All plants perk up even more when EC raised by 0.2 each time. I'm wary of my EC level and wonder if lockout is possible. Its weird. Ph 5.6-6.0

When i ran NFT with plants that were about 4 ounces at harvest I could hit them with incredible amounts of nutrients without adverse reactions. Not sure why NFT is like that (maybe the HUGE root mats) but you arent alone in that. You can see changes pretty fast in a souped up NFT run but it still takes about a day or two to see nutrient change results. I was running 14000 watts at the time which i consider souped up.

I personally make my own hydroponic nutrients using KNO3, KH2PO4, MgSO4.7H2O, Ca(NO3)2, and FeSO4(0.8g worth in 4 gallon). :)

The difference between high and low iron is like night and day.

Hi guys!!! Here's the latest!! I took pics 10 mins before the lights came on.

The cheese are looking stronger than the OG and keep growth spurting!!
Ignore the funny brown marks on the lower left, it's a reflection of the floor lamp.

More worried about the OG pistils :-

Closer pic of OG bud site on top:-

I got a bit worried about burning them so I added RO water and reduced the EC to 2.1. The cheese are at EC 2.3. one of them is looking over (they are seeds, not clones).

Right now I'm emptying the tank and adding fresh nutes. We looked at iron in the book but we weren't sure. The cannazym made a good difference over night. I need to get this iron sulphate tomorrow but as Spain is like Russia in the sun , I may have to order it.

Hey lahadaetranjer,

Your pm box is full and I can't send you anymore. Here's what I was trying to send:

Here are some pics of my current grow (nirvana's pure power plant) at about day 18 and the nutes I use. I adjust the amount of each bottles with each grow to find the perfect mixture.

Haha, thank you. I took chemistry in high school and then the same course again in college, so I guess I just have the basics down pretty well. You can get the salts for those at cropking for pretty cheap, so I've just been guessing and checking with different mixtures of what I got there until something worked.

Wow! Are you a chemist? I'll go and sort out my inbox!! :) I'm changing the cheese tank now!

Your plants look great, really nice colour. They look like they are going into flower soon. Is Cropking an Internet hydro supplier? Im going to a hydro shop in the morning.

Thank you! Yeah, cropking is online. They sell individual nutrient salts like the ones I use, but they have a different form of iron (chellated) than I have. They work just as well if not better than iron sulfate.

No more BS additives like calmag that contain exactly the same salts, but in slightly different ratios and combinations.
