Tell us what your RH% is in the room, do you have a dehumidifier?Yea I'm going to go with what you said sounds like the best idea, it must have took you a while to type all of this out I really appreciate this, thankyou

I have a HTC 1 humidity and temperature meter on the floor of the tent which always shows between 40%-55% humidity and between 25degrees c to 30degrees cTell us what your RH% is in the room, do you have a dehumidifier?
I do not have a dehumidifier I am looking to get one thoughTell us what your RH% is in the room, do you have a dehumidifier?
Maybe I'm doing it wrong lol andSomething went wrong with your cure then man... there is absolutely no scientific evidence that flushing does anything at all for your bud... but I digress
Remember dehumidifiers usually put out good amount of heat so you will have too deal with that my LG dehumidifier puts out so much heat it isnt even funny lolI do not have a dehumidifier I am looking to get one though
Funny thing about humidity, it rises. This means the air is more moist near your tops. You need a dehumidifier. It's a red alert.I have a HTC 1 humidity and temperature meter on the floor of the tent which always shows between 40%-55% humidity and between 25degrees c to 30degrees c
Ya man, whatever makes you happy. Honestly, it all sounds like a bunch of bro science to me. I'd recommend doing some research from sources that aren't a for-profit "cannabis college"... also, I wanted to avoid derailing this thread but I'm just so curious now.... what do you mean you don't cure?? Do you just process all your fresh into concentrate or something? Or do you just like, smoke a bunch of dry ass bud? I'm confused hahaMaybe I'm doing it wrong lol and
Yeah I suck at coco haha this is why i quit coco years ago, i grow in plastic buckets currently using hydroton and rockwool grow cubes. Also I don't cure man lol I gave the oaksterdam university course book a read and it says that the flush is basically the breakdown of sugars and starches and the cure is the break down of chlorophyll. the book says that if you separate the plant from the root ball and hang it as a whole all metabolic processes continue for 3 days thus breaking down sugars starches and chlorophyll for you but if I do it this way I must run a flushing agent for the first 6 hours of lights on and than run pure water for the last 6 hours of lights on or my end product ends up being duper harsh, but if I flush for 1 day and hang the plant as a whole for 3 days the buds are super light green(chlorophyll has been broken down) and they burn super smooth(sugars and starches have been broken down).
Maybe I'm doing it wrong lol but it works for me
Too each they're own method I guess
You're humidity is spiking during lights off. Thanks for the reply, yeah I have a 4 inch extraction which I run when light is on and I have some ducting running through some of the holes in tent with s bends so light can't get through and cloth over the outside end to stop spiders from getting in and I have 2 small oscillating fans for air circulation but they don't seem to even make the leaves rustle
Which you likely look at during lights on. What does it read during lights off?I have a HTC 1 humidity and temperature meter on the floor of the tent which always shows between 40%-55% humidity and between 25degrees c to 30degrees c
Haha see, I do something similar, but to me that's curing. I also don't like burping so I slightly overdry my buds and use 55% humidity packs... I've caught some flak for the overdrying in these parts but I actually get a smoother finish and better terps then when I screw around trying to keep things at 62%... I do find the bud keeps improvinh for about 2 months after jarring, especially in terms of bag appeal, but I don't wait that long to smoke itPeople I talk too usually say that they cure for months or years(no lie I met someone online that said this) in Mason jars too make they're buds taste and smell better all I do is flush 1 day hang whole plant 3 days dry my buds and jar them I don't like burping so I wait until they are nice and dry if I over do it I add some humidity packs and bam i smoke my weed without leaving it in a jar for years.
Know I'm confused what is the cure in your mind? Like how do u cure? Leave ur buds in Mason jars at a certain RH for months on end?
Bro science has already been defeated by real science on the flushing myth.wow. 4 pages of people.
what strain was it?
I lost 3/4 of a solid QP to mold AFTER harvest. All Trash. Didnt blink...just tossed it.
No clones were taken. No seedlings to flip.
Just 3 months of light bills & rent...for a few group sessions.
You get better with time.
I started flushing because the cannabible
was shitting on hydro growers for that reason. I had a 8 strain grow that I flushed for 3 weeks & the buds taste like celery when you eat them. Terps exploded & my ash was gandolf white. No crunchy chunks of carbon??!
anyways--its not science but that was my experience.
In the meantime, consider your exhaust fan.I do not have a dehumidifier I am looking to get one though
Burn it... clean your room and move on... dont waste any more time on it. Its a war you will lose. Your room was too humid and you didn't have enough air r movementCould someone please help me, the leaves started yellowing on one side of my plant about 4 weeks into flower and now I am 7 weeks in and today when I was checking and I noticed one of the buds went brown and the main cola has white fluff inside of the bud and a couple of other buds on the plant have white fluff in them too, also all of the buds on the plant are starting to turn purple. So do you think this can be saved? And should I start to flush it now or should I cut it straight down and dry it? I read earlier that you can "water cure" moldy buds is this true? I am unfamiliar with uploading pics onto this site so I hope I have done it right, there should be 2 pics attached to this thread.
Any inputs will be appreciated, thanks
OP wrote "I have 2 plants in a 4×4 tent..."An overly powerful exhaust fan with a speed controller will help a lot.
Not necessarily true. Its a war you will lose.
Can't remember what the 8 inch was, probably 500 or more.OP wrote "I have 2 plants in a 4×4 tent..."
What is a good turnover rate for the air in a tent? OP is working with about 106 cubic feet. Should the fan be at least 100CFM or???
