I think they call those fox tails and it can be a sign of too hot near the end of the flowering cycle or maybe even past.

This happned in the last 7-10 days before Harvest heres some details.

Blue cheese from a mother x 9 (one died but just as well they packed the tent i think 10 would of been too much)
canna soil
1.2m x1.2m tent
x1 600w for 3weeks then x2 600w for the other 7weeks
bloom tastic , big bud and the other 2 nutrients slip my mind cos im stoned but normal veg feeds.
Flushed for 1 week on tap water and all water was tap

After trimming and curing (hanging them upside down in tent for a week) i got 31 oz just short of the Kg mark.
This was my 1st solo grow and when i say solo i mean ive helped a lot of friends in the past :)

I could not believe the amount of thc crystals the plants were producing from early on and by harvest they were coated it was insane.
I harvested when it was 75% milky trichs 25%amber
The smoke was beautifull ive been to amsterdamn twice also india and sold weed and hash for over 20 years and id say this weed ranked equal to some of the nicest ive ever had, it had a lovely fruity smell a bit like raspery/bluberry, sweets cheap fizzy drinks and a very strong but up there kinda chatty high but of course after a few spliffs you would get the couch lock. Everybody who had some said it was amazing weed.
The small pointy little buds that were growing did worry me but the guy who gave me the cuttings who also has 15 years experience and runs a hydroponic shop told a friend of mine that it was called crowning and usually only happned in hydro grows and not soil??? this is 2nd hand info so i decided to check it out with you guys :)

Also what amazed me was the noise it made when drying!!!

Yes Heat stress seem logical as they were tall and a bit too close to the lights near the end of the grow.
