Hey Abi, you really don't need a scale if you trust your people, I know I don't now, that's for sure!
But wanting to give a right quantity (to friends only) from my runs and computing numbers makes it hella easier!
I believe most of the stealth growers use it for their own enjoyment and as a personal medicine!
Congrats on the weight, even by experience someone can tell!!

Would you believe that I don't have a scale and never have really had one either. I have been toking for about 20 years [damn..im older....] and never really needed one. I am too giving and too trusting. Karma.
I have only grown for a short time for myself and don't sell, so no nead for a scale really.
I mean peeps from before had scales, so I wasn't that trusting, lol. and now I am just trying to grow enough meds for myself, after the army and blowing out a vertebrae or 3 [No Surgery Though!]
My scale is when my back doesn't hurt each and every dayBut I would still say, that I yielded a pleasant 15-20 grams. Trying to develop a perpetual harvest.

Very impressed with the "fridge grow". I got an old dorm fridge from work and have started my second grow on the 1st of Feb. My first grow was a single plant that grew well with CFL bulbs. I have 2 autos in the fridge now. Will be watching for more updates. Good luck with your grow!

Im just sick of scales, I guess. I give what I have, if I have it. I am not stingy.
It's not like I have never used a scale, lol, going to have to get one for this comp though.
I use to use a several scales at work and because of the sensitivity of the chemistry bullshit I was doing, each scale had to be calibrated and de-calibrated essentially. Drove me crazy, probably did that like 20 times a day. Never became part of my routines, just a fucking hassle

I run coco water right until the end [15:1]. Im organic, no flushing. It is basically a Cal/Mag alternative with other nutrients. That's why I have stuck to using it.
Smoking, could be subjective, and I haven't dialed it in all the way yet, but I think everything I have up here has smoked great [good ash color].
I have a destroyed back and all the herb I have consumed over the last 2-3 months has really helped with my back pain, the LED's if with my unskilled hands will grow FIRE. Can't say the same for the crappy dispensary meds from before......top shelf my ass.

Thanks for documenting this. Helps us new guys a lot and damn....I am going to try an LED cabinet. Someone at work just gave me two bathroom vanity sized locking computer cabinets with wheels. For something that size (about the size of your cab) how many of the CREE LEDs would you recommend? I have a small veg cab right now and a vanity sized flower cab, but I am thinking of doing a LED veg/clone cab and an LED flower cab since these two freebies are identical.

Nice cedar! picograve over in the led's finished a project months ago with big LED's in free full size server towers, bastard. Got em' free off craigslist. ............kudo's for grabbing up a set too! Should be dope
I would say 2-3 bulbs per sq. ft at a minimum. More is fine if you can fit them. I also use more of the Phillips 10.5w 3000k bulbs in my bigger cabinet than the crees [60+w vs. 39w]. I would say ideally you could go to a 3:1 ratio of bulbs, using 2700k/5000k Cree during flower and a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio for veg. The 5000k is underrated, but I think it holds a touch enough of UV that stardustsailor is swearing by today....

Checking out that thread. I ended up with one cart, but it was free. Nicer than I expected though. It is 4'6'' tall an 24" square. it has a box inside with electrical outlets too. I am thinking a single plant inside with plenty of headroom. Great box to mainline a sativa in!

Didn't this post, damn, this is my 1st real thread on RIU and half the pics haven't ever come back and I can't find all my copies. Lame.
I might have a reveg cut of the Blulu!!!!!! She isn't much of a looker yet, but I cut everything off that had sugar. Any nodes that were showing pistils, etc. Then just stuck it in my veg cab @ 18hours. Been about 3 weeks and already throwing out wonky sets.
Pretty amazing....ps, should meet up again Country Faire/Burning Man......too bad the calendar has to roll around again!
