I Fuckin' Love It Man! I was going to go buy some plywood and construct a small grow space that way but when i saw your post i said fuck that shit! Im going to make one out of cardboard for sure! But i had a few questions, have you ever worried about your lights burning the cardboard? And what kind of nutrients were you using for those delicious looking buds? And you said the strain was AK-48, That shit looks dank as fuck! Any way if you culd make a sep by step on how you constructed everything nutrients, lights, fans, ventilation, etc... etc....that shit would be very cool of you bro.
Anyway good job man i would most definitely wanna see how your grow turns out! Im gonna pull up a chair for this one!

it's pretty easy to make...I just got some big boxes and tape it together to make a big box...then I cut a door...i use 3 of those square fans for ventilation...two in and 1 out which is connected to the duct that goes out the window....the fan is set on the same timer as the light so they turn on at the same time...and also there is a big hole on the top of the box to with a removable cover so i really have to heat issue...also I use a curtain hanger to hang the light. the box is about 4ft x 3ft x 6ft tall.

i use miracle grow for tomato 18-18-21 for veg...make sure it's really diluted or you will have nute burns...and for flowering I use botanicaire pro bloom and big bud by advanced nutrients.

safe? i don't see why not...i don't think a box made out of wood is any safer. I may be wrong. This is my second grow and the first turn out just like these.

buds look great, im going to start my off soon, see if it works ;p..yeah i got a question? does that one room the set up is in,does it smell like bare growing weed?,also what are the measurements on yours,im tryn to see how much crop i could get.

box is 4ft b x 3ft x 6ft...i can grow 9 smaller plants like a SOG type grow or 6 larger plants which is what i'm doing now...i get them about 22-24 inches tall before I flower them...as far as the smell....it doesn't really stink up my apartment....I have a fan which sucks a lot of the smell and heat out and blow it out the window....i live in a apartment and i just harvested this grow and now i'm on my third grow with 6 AK-48...I plan to do 9 smaller plants for my 4th grow...I'm only using 1 400w HPS....I have a question for you guys...i'm not growing mother plants....I clone them right before I flower them....my question is...does that affect the potency over time by doing that?

no you can clone a clone i have seen 9th generation clones................hey you should paint that clean up the look, another good material is R-matt board from lowes, its is a rigid insulation board great stuff built my room out of it no tools tape

i think its safe as long as your box is sturdy and not falling apart..

how did u make it sturdy? extra supports anywhere?

i have pvc frame wrapped with black polyurthane and i have to have the middle bar at the top to hang a light...

nice box though! it sure is producing some good nug

I think the main concern with a cardboard cabinet like that is (aside from the fire hazard) keeping humidity where you want it. If you boost the humidity up much the cardboard could get a little damp, and wet cardboard isn't nearly as strong as dry cardboard.

I'd worry about it getting limp and falling down, then getting hot from the light, drying out, and catching fire.

im doing a ghetto grow ryt now as funds r very low could you ansa this on my thread.......heres the link....i think it will tke u thr....lol av a luk at my starter and tell me wot u think...hav changd it a little since so wil post more pix

hey. i am doing a carboard box grow as well. everything is doing fine except my heat issues? it get to damn hott in there even with an intake fan. any suggestions?
