Hi people, I have one clone which was taken from a flowering mother plant and which was planted directly in soil. The clone was initially kept outside under indirect sunlight for one week. Then I brought it indoor and for the last 3 weeks, it has been living in a quickly made grow box under 24/0 of light. The light source is one 35 watt, 6400K CFL bulb.
The clone looks like it has rooted and it did produce a few very small new shoots with small leaves on them. The new shoots appeared around the bud on the clone's top (the clone had one small flowering bud on it).
Problem is that the clone won't grow more than that and it won't pop any new shoots. It doesn't stretch and it looks like the new shoots are not growing in size. The cutting just stays like that and there's no any progress.
I know that converting a flowering clone back to vegetation takes some time, but it's been 3 weeks under 24/0 of light and the plant just doesn't look like it's growing at all.
I also noticed that its stem turned purple.
Anybody with experience with flowering clones?
How long on the average does it take them to go back to vegetation and under what light cycles?
Will the plant start growing vigorously once it's back to vegetation or will it always remain small, slow growing and underdeveloped?
What can I do to make it go back to veg faster? Should I transplant it in a hempy bucket or in hydro or in something of that sort?
Lots of questions, hope to get some advice.
Thanks!
